Elegant apartments with Mediterranean-style décor and free Wi-Fi are offered at this UNESCO-listed apartment house, located in Prague’s historic center. It is 820 feet from Charles Bridge and the Old Town Square. The self-catering Black Star Suites are each equipped with stylish marble bathrooms. All have a spacious seating area with satellite TV. The apartments are located in a historical building and are accessible via stairs. The reception is only open from 07:00 to 19:00 and is located in the adjacent building in Hotel Clementin. Due to the historic monument protection, there is no elevator in the building. All rooms are accessible only by stairs. Prague Apartments are just a 2-minute walk away from many shops, restaurants and cafés. Staroměstská Metro Station is just a 3-minute walk away, providing connections to all parts of the city.

It was dirty, the furniture was old, and it was cold. The cleaner had turned off the air conditioner during the day, which is unacceptable!

Staying in an historic building right in the heart of the Old Town that still gave you a sense of calm from the busy streets. The welcome and kindness of the staff was really lovely. We used the guidance that Alice gave us to find somewhere special and authentic to eat for each of our three nights. We were there at the start of the Christmas markets so there was plenty going on but the walls of this superb building were so thick that our suite was always cosy and quiet. The WiFi worked well for us, as did all of the fixtures and fittings (tea, coffee, fridge etc). Thanks to the restrictions on developing such an old building the lay-out meant that we had an enormous suite of rooms that was a bonus that we had not expected.
I would have liked a thicker softer mattress, but we slept well, so not really a complaint. We opted to pay for breakfasts, which was smart idea on the first day as newbies to Prague, however there are dozens of alternative just on the doorstep so we will be checking them out when we return.
