The location was great right across from the river and could see the Charles bridge from our room. The breakfast was one of the better we have had here in Europe. Such friendly staff in the morning and a fun coffee machine to make your cappuccino.
The room was a little small. It was difficult to get around the bed on either side. Dont expect American type AC. If it had it (was difficult to figure out where it was coming from) it may have gotten cool a little during the day, but to get fresh air we opened our windows at night (since it was September and they had cool nights). But with windows open it was loud on the busy street below with traffic and drunk people at night. But its to be expected staying downtown in a big city. Also, the directions we received from booking.com were not correct. It took us to a different spot. We thought it was 15 minute walk to it, but it ended up being a 1/2 hour walk to it. And it was difficult to find. The entrance does not fare the busy street, rather its in back and just a small door with their name on it.

Breakfast just perfect. Even had soya milk!!!
Plastic cover on mattress.
Needed to sleep with window open and outside was very loud and busy; the downside of being central.

1) Dan at reception is awesome. Friendly & helpful with jazz club & restaurant recommendations
2) breakfast is awesome , with change in spread daily. Such a lovely start to the day with happy tummies
3) so near to Charles bridge. Thats the best. Can walk to Charles bridge to catch sunrise before crowd descends
4) old town & new town are both walkable from hotel too. Gem of location

Perfect location, super friendly staff and spacious rooms
Old spring mattress, very uncomfortable. Sitting room had a pull out sofa bed that was another old spring type piece of furniture and even more uncomfortable than the bed
