We stayed at the Buddha-Bar Hotel Prague after reading many reviews praising the exceptional service and helpfulness of the staff, so naturally our expectations were quite high. Our first impression unfortunately was not the best. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was because it advertises valet parking, which is extremely important in central Prague where parking is very difficult. When we arrived outside the hotel, we tried calling the reception several times and nobody answered. For a five-star hotel, this was surprising. We eventually had to leave the car outside and go personally to the reception, where we were informed that there was no parking space available and that we should park at Palladium Shopping Center nearby. After returning to the hotel for check-in, I asked again about the parking situation and was told there was a corporate event and all spaces were occupied. However, after some further discussion, the receptionist checked with the valet colleague and suddenly a parking space was in fact available. This meant we had to return to Palladium, retrieve the car, and bring it back to the hotel. Considering that valet parking costs around €50 per day, the entire experience felt disorganized and unnecessary. During the rest of the stay, the service was polite but not particularly memorable. The two valet gentlemen were genuinely helpful and very courteous, and the breakfast staff was also consistently polite. However, the atmosphere at reception often felt somewhat cold, bored, and uninterested rather than warm or welcoming. The hotel itself is still visually impressive. The Asian-inspired concept creates a dark, sensual, spa-like atmosphere that feels unique, elegant, and slightly theatrical in a very good way. You can imagine that this hotel must have been truly spectacular a few years ago. Unfortunately, today it clearly needs renovation and better maintenance.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and very comfortable. I especially appreciated the daily complimentary water and the coffee machine in the room, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of options to suit different tastes. Everything was fresh and well-prepared. The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to help with anything I needed, which made me feel very welcome throughout my stay. I was also pleasantly surprised to be welcomed with a refreshing Prosecco at reception — a lovely touch that set the tone for the visit. Highly recommended!
