Lying at anchor on the Vltava river in the center of Prague, just over half a mile from the Charles Bridge and a 10-minute walk from the Charles Square, Boat Hotel Matylda offers free Wi-Fi. Standard double rooms are situated on the original Matylda boat. This boat also has a bar and the well-known restaurant with a summer terrace serving Italian cuisine. The other rooms are to be found on the newer Klotylda boat. Each of the cabins on the two boats features an elegant interior design with hardwood floors. Some have their own private balcony and dark leather armchairs. The Boat Hotel is in the vicinity of the famous Dancing House, right next to the tram stop Jiraskovo namesti and 320 yards from Karlovo namesti metro station.

The location was perfect- a very easy walk into the old town of Prague. The restaurant is marvellous- lots of choices and the food that we ordered was superb. We could highly recommend this and we are so glad that we stayed here.

Gorgeous suite and the outside space was fantastic. Location was perfect for our sight seeing city break. Bed was comfortable, breakfast was lovely.
I would’ve liked to have a full size mirror in the suite.

The rooms are very authentic with dark shutters & dark furniture. Although very adequate the rooms are on the smaller size. Bathroom small but has everything you need.

The location couldn’t be better. I liked the gentle rocking of the boat while falling asleep.
When I arrived the door was locked and there weren’t any personnel visible.

We had the front of the boat...the Deluxe Jr. Suite. It was spacious with comfortable furniture, bed and an outside deck. Loved the Boat Hotel Matylda...and having the restaurant on the boat next door was great. Breakfast was delicious and our dinner was amazing. The staff was friendly and helpful. Loved the novelty of sleeping on a boat in the city. Highly recommend!!

I loved everything about my stay at this property. Its location was perfect. The view at breakfast was excellent. I ate the breakfast (12€) on three mornings. They were all delicious meals. I hosted friends (15€ because they were not staying on site) and they commented on how good and well priced the meal was. I slept great in my room. I was able to leave my window open (it had a screen) during my sleep. I always wear earplugs when I’m not at home. I don’t know if there was any noise. I certainly didn’t hear anything! The room was clean. As expected, the room was small. I had no intentions of entertaining in my room. I used it to sleep, shower and recharge my phone, so it was perfect! The staff was kind and welcoming. The price was amazing! If I ever return to Prague, I will stay here again. I have recommended it to friends already since returning home!

Amazing location and cozy rooms, excellent food in the restaurant on board.
The shower is a bit small, you will struggle a bit if you're tall.
