Renovated in 2015, Bishop's House is a design hotel in the heart of the historical center of Prague, only 197 feet from Charles Bridge and the Vltava river and a 10-minute walk from Prague Castle. It offers free WiFi in the entire hotel. The main hotel building dates back to the 16th century and has an empire façade from 1843. Guests can also choose accommodations in a Gothic tower which was a former official seat of the bishop, first mentioned in the 13th century. All rooms are air-conditioned. The top-floor tower rooms feature beautiful ceilings, reminiscent of the long history of the house. Please note that some rooms are accessible only by stairs. When booking 9 or more people or 4 or more rooms for the same date, through one or more bookings, the hotel may apply different payment and cancellation policies. The location was extraordinary, very easy to walk around and use the tram. Super close to the Charles Bridge and the Praha Castle. The staff was super kind too. There is a coffee machine you can use all day long.
The internet never worked in the room. I had to go to the lobby to use it which is bad for international folks travelling around Europe.

Location is incredible, right at the end of Charles bridge, it has so many cafes and bars near by where you can pay a bit more to eat at the river with amazing views or great value off some side streets in Mala Strana area. Breakfast selection was great, with hot food, fruit and yoghurts, cold meats and breads with decent coffee to start the day. Would stay here again if I’m ever back.

Very friendly and helpful staff who took really good care of us. Breakfast was more than sufficient with a good variety to choose from. The room was clean, tidy and very comfortable with enough storage space for the two of us. The hotel is quiet even though you are only 60m from the famous Charles Bridge. Plenty of places to eat and drink. The nearest tram stop is only a 4 min walk.
Though it is very useful that they have a lift in this building, there is only room for two people, if they know each other very well, or one person with baggage. So plan ahead if you are in a hurry to leave and have lots of baggage, it may be busy and you may have to wait an extra few minutes. Even so, very useful if you have a room on the higher floors.

The breakfast was very good and varied. The location was excellent, close to points of interest, and at the same time we enjoyed complete quiet in the room. The staff were extremely attentive and helpful—they assisted us in ordering a taxi so we wouldn’t miss (due to our flight delay) the Vltava river cruise we had booked.

Great location, easy to walk everywhere. The apartment was clean, comfortable and well presented, with a lovely light feel to it. Beds were very comfortable and everything we needed for a short stay was provided. Quiet at night despite being central, which made a big difference.
Not a lot to complain about. Maybe slightly clearer check-in info would help, but it didn’t take away from the stay.

The location is very central, close to Charles Bridge; during our stay, we didn't even take public transport, as all of the main attractions were so close to our hotel. The breakfast was pretty good, the variety was decent, having quite a lot of options to choose from, and as for taste, it was also quite good. The room was nice, reasonably clean, the bed was confortable, and the staff was absolutely incredible, very friendly and very helpful. We arrived very late at night, at around 11 PM, so it was great that their reception is open 24/7.
It wasn't a huge problem, as we were provided with blankets, but the room was a little bit cold at times.
