The location of the hotel is great, walking distance to the city center and all the shops. There is also a Lidl nearby which is helpful. We didn't really take any public transportation as everythwere we needed to go was a short walk
The main reason for the low rating is that one of the "fresh" towels was visibly dirty! I didn't really scrutinize all the other towels but that was a deal breaker for us and we won't be going back! When I told the lady in recipition about it, she didn't even appologize. She just said she will have a word with the housekeping manager. If there are marks left on the fresh towels, I wonder what else was left everywhere that was not as visible! This is definitely not a 5 star experience at all.
The pillows were also very uncomfortable and run down. The bed was 2 beds put together with a small gap that you can feel in the middle, which was very uncomfortable for a couple. Again, all of this is not a 5 star exprience.

Very clean and elegant hotel. The breakfast staff were excellent and very helpful to us each morning. The food selections were also high quality and among the best in our Europe trip. The hotel room was older but very clean, the hotel overall has a very classy classic feel to it. The location was great and we were able to access everywhere easily.

Excellent hotel, very well presented, lovely building, great area, 5 minute walk from Wenceslas Square, shopping and Old Town Square.
Std twin room was perfect, large, with a hall and separate large bathroom.
Had a meal in the restaurant one night, great food and service, very reasonable.
Initial booking via Booking.com was cancelled by Booking but the hotel honoured the room and price.
Will def be back.
I rocked up in a pair of shorts and T-shirt and felt underdressed, totally my fault lol.

Good location, 5 minute walk and you're in the thick of it all. Clean and tidy, pleasant staff. Didnt pay for breakfast as part of our booking, but did pay extra the day of departure and it was a decent spread. I'd say this is a good hotel for an older crowd looking for some creature comforts.
Room was an odd shape and dated. But that's being picky.

The suite was wonderful and so were the beds. The service by the reception and concierge were excellent.
The location is not great for walking. The food at the rooftop bar was only okay.

Wonderful and hospitable staff, fantastic location, fabulous breakfast buffet, quite luxurious.
Very dull lighting in the rooms. I understand the need to capture a feeling of historic elegance, but that shouldn’t translate to dull lighting in the rooms.
I’m going out on a limb here but I’ll say it - the hotel is definitely haunted but not in a bad way.

The hotel is magnificent, the staff is amazing, the breakfast is excellent (includes omelet station, the scramble eggs, orange juice, coffe, milk, yogurt, pastries, beans, different kind of cheese, etc..
Everything was perfect, the hotel is very clean, our room was very comfortable, we will stay here again without a doubt.

Waking up middle of the night because the air filter system started making incredible loud sounds. Eventually I changed rooms after being awake from 2:00 to 4:30.
