Good location, 5 minute walk and you're in the thick of it all. Clean and tidy, pleasant staff. Didnt pay for breakfast as part of our booking, but did pay extra the day of departure and it was a decent spread. I'd say this is a good hotel for an older crowd looking for some creature comforts.
Room was an odd shape and dated. But that's being picky.

Wonderful and hospitable staff, fantastic location, fabulous breakfast buffet, quite luxurious.
Very dull lighting in the rooms. I understand the need to capture a feeling of historic elegance, but that shouldn’t translate to dull lighting in the rooms.
I’m going out on a limb here but I’ll say it - the hotel is definitely haunted but not in a bad way.

The suite was wonderful and so were the beds. The service by the reception and concierge were excellent.
The location is not great for walking. The food at the rooftop bar was only okay.

The hotel is magnificent, the staff is amazing, the breakfast is excellent (includes omelet station, the scramble eggs, orange juice, coffe, milk, yogurt, pastries, beans, different kind of cheese, etc..
Everything was perfect, the hotel is very clean, our room was very comfortable, we will stay here again without a doubt.

Waking up middle of the night because the air filter system started making incredible loud sounds. Eventually I changed rooms after being awake from 2:00 to 4:30.

Old fashioned hospitality that is definitely an amazing experience in today’s world.
Great service from the moment you check in until you check out.
Very friendly staff, hotel is in good shape and they make sure all your needs are met.
Breakfast was excellent with lots of options and very attentive waiters.
We booked 2 rooms and they made sure they are close to each other and also were able to accommodate our large car with parking near the hotel.
We were there during the World Cup final and the bar staff were nice enough to accommodate the late hour (they close the bar/restaurant at 10:30pm) and left the tv on and even gave out peanuts.
The location is very close to most attractions without being right on top of it.

The morning bell boy that was responsible to get the gate open for us to be able to pull out the car was a bit annoyed by it and wasn’t very helpful.
Bottles of water in the room are about $5 and I think that hotels at this price point should be giving you 2 free bottles of water.
