Let me tell you, I am extremely particular about cleanliness - to the point where it can sometimes feel like a curse when staying in hotels. At this hotel, however, I genuinely did not have to worry about a thing. If there is one word I would use to describe the hotel and its rooms, it is POLISHED. The beds were spotless, including the inside of pillows and duvets themselves. Every glass, every mirror, every light switch, every marble surface - everything was exceptionally clean, polished and shiny. No discoloured silicone in the bathroom, no rust, no mysterious gunk hiding at the bottom of the shower door. Nothing. This is the kind of cleanliness I very rarely encounter in hotels. Absolute perfection. Please tell my thanks to the cleaning crew.
The only thing - please, update the TVs so guests can watch Netflix, screen sharing did not work.

What a wonderful stay we had at Art Deco Imperial! Staff was exceptionally kind and welcoming. We arrived rather early in the morning and they were able to offer us early check-in which was very generous and saved our day (we were travelling with a two-year-old and it rained in the morning). Breakfast was fantastic and served in the spectacular Imperial Cafe. We had dinner at the grill called ”next door” which is also part of the hotel which was also fantastic and very accommodating to us brining our child. 10/10 stay!

Tje art deco features at the hotel were fabulous. Very nice and engaged staff. Breakfast was excellent and was held in the stunning Cafe Imperial. Had a dinner there too, which was delicious.
From the lower floors to the front of the buiödong you might just hear the street tram, something to consider if one is a light sleeper
