Great management of hotel and hospitality. The owner himself had breakfast with us and asked if we need anything more. Breakfast was great quality. Location is excellent with tram and metro two minutes of walking distance. There are several restaurants nearby. The room has air conditioning which many hotels lack. The hotel is in downtown and very safe area. Main station is just 5 minutes away by taxi or metro. We needed some printouts and owner gave without hesitation and money. Very good lift. Owner believes in high quality. This is a very small hotel with limited facilities but rated high due to the sheer quality outlook.
Triple rooms are small. There is no space to keep luggage. Drainage in wash basin was little clogged. The reception is open unto 7 pm. There is no housekeeping service after that. My nebhouring room guest had problem in opening the door of the room, but the owner came instantly, which was nice.

The staff were excellent, extremely helpful and you immediately felt like you were home. Room was large, very clean and comfortable. Location was great, just a short walk to metro and a few minutes walk to train.

The stuff was super nice and helpful! The location is great. Right next to the metro and to bus lines to arrive everywhere very easily. The bed was very comfortable. Ac worked great!

Alton and it’s close by sister hotel “beranek” are in my fixed rotation of prague hotels. The rooms are clean, tidy and somewhat minimalist (which i like). Some dynamic pricing quirks aside they are mostly good value for money. The last room i had was under the roof and had a powerful AC to not make me feel the heat of a 33 degree day. Good shower, very enjoyable breakfast and friendly staff make it a pleasure to stay there every time. Location is next to cute town square “tylak” in the nice vinohrady quarter; I.P Pavlova station is well connected. I will book again!

I will say I like the bed, soft and the pillows. If you know how to walk through the park, then you can walk 15 minutes to the center also the Metro IP Pavlova two minutes just right on the corner. Grocery store if you’re hungry or you wanna buy water because they don’t provide water keep in mind you have to have your own water so the store is convenient..
First of all be ready if you arrive late you have to check in on booking.com. They have no receptionist after seven . I had issue with Internet. It was impossible to call them. I have to ask somebody else to use their phone. One tiny bar of soap, no shower cups no sleepers,no iron, you have to ask, no water at all. They will offer you to go at midnight to grocery store right on the corner and buy there. Breakfast was OK. For that amount of money, I would expect at least bigger so bars, shower caps, lotion, iron slippers, and of course, water.
