Beautiful building, great location. Large, well-equipped rooms. Staff are very nice and helpful, particularly the gentleman who checked us in when we arrived quite late in the evening.
Breakfast quality could be improved. Guests should not be allowed in the ground ground floor common areas in their dressing gowns. A woman had her bare feet up on the table in one of the lounge rooms, which was gross.

The room is spacious, well-decorated and clean, the staff is very helpful and friendly, there are many small nice details are like chocolates for the evening, wine and cheese at 4pm, the facilities are very clean, nice spa area
We were given the room 103, and the isolation from noise is poor. There were noise from upstairs which were preventing to rest and sleep. For me comfort and peace of mind during travel is priority so for the room of this level it was a disappointment. The room windows are facing another building so no view for this class of room

Beautiful hotel, great location. Attentive staff. Lovely touch to provide complimentary wine & cheese from 4pm to 4.30.
Spa area was very small and poorly laid out. Pool was cold. Beautiful lobby area but no bar in the evenings to enjoy it.

The location was perfect, close to everything of need, the breakfast was really good, the room and the hotel were clean, really good idea of the afternoon presantation of cheese and wine.
The size of the room we did not like, really small room in contrast to the hall and bathroom. The water in the pool was really cold.

The hotel, room and majority of the staff are superb. The restaurant is excellent for dinner. They have a complimentary wine and cheese at 4pm daily. Majority of the staff are friendly and accommodating, the younger ones need serious training.
The breakfast service is disappointing. The food is overcooked and sits in the warmers for too long. The young waiters need better training, 2 mornings they grabbed my plate while I was still eating! They clear the table while my partner was still eating. Not 5 star. The spa area is disappointing also. Access to the steam room is through the ladies showers! The jets in the pool have to be turned on by a staff member...not always available.

Beautiful, very old building sympathetically modernised in an excellent location. Very pretty room with a pleasant out look over an attractive inner courtyard and blissfully quiet. Breakfast was good but not outstanding.
The staff were pleasant and professional but one did not get the feeling that they were enthusiastic about their jobs or would go the extra mile. Not all of the freshly cooked breakfast dishes were included and the choice on the buffet was pretty standard.
