Located in a renovated bourgeois house from the beginning of the 20th century, Hotel Victoria is located within a 10-minute walk from the center of Plzeň and offers a restaurant, a bar and meeting facilities. Room was on the small side but OK for a single. Breakfast had good choice.
When I arrived, I was told no parking was available when I arrived which was one of the main reasons I chose this hotel and they were not helpful. I had to try and find street parking late in the evening, not a great experience. May look to stay elsewhere next time.

A charming old-era hotel with character. There's a beautiful statue of Our Lady on the third floor. Pictures from old times are also nice. The staff are amazing and very helpful."
The fridge in the room is very noisy. The breakfast space is quite small, and there are very few vegetarian options. Plain flakes, seeds, nuts, raisins and higher-quality cheeses should be added.

We were happy when we got a brand new room. It seems our room is the only one renovated on our floor. But we don't have internet inside our room. Re. the parking, we were lucky that we found 1 parking spot on the back street. The breakfast is good.
As I said before, we didn't have internet in our room. We found out when we returned to the hotel at night. We went to the reception three times, but they did nothing. We were waiting for the staff to check the internet inside our room, but she just checked the internet in the hallway on our floor and left without informing us. Last time, she told us the hotel was fully booked. We were really irritated by the attitude of the manager the day after. So, what he said was that it was unlucky for us.

Whilst the room we had was a little dated, it was clean, comfortable and cosy. Exactly what was advertised when we booked it, with nearby secure parking free and a delicious buffet breakfast to start the day. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in the area as the location is also good and within easy walking distance to the city centre!

The location was ok and it was easy to walk to the city center. There’s a private carpark but you can also park free on the streets around the corner and behind the block where the hotel is. It’s a bit outdated building but it still works ok.
The fridge could be quite loud when turned on. The breakfast was ok although there wasn’t much healthy choice available (dark bread, more kinds of fruit etc) and having the meal served in the basement without windows wasn’t pleasant at all. Also, there’s not much space around the food tables and it gets crowded easily. Another space for improvement is the gym - it would be better if a guest can book let’s say one hour in advance and knows that this time slot will be reserved for them otherwise you may turn up and the gym is occupied (the guest gets the key and no one else can use it until the guest returns the key). There is a space for improvement but it’s still a good experience and it’s not expensive.
