The Roudna hotel is located in one of the oldest and most quiet quarters of Plzeň, 5 to 10 minute's walk from the very center, and offers nice rooms and great food at reasonable prices. The Steak Restaurant-Saloon Roudna boast of the title The Best of West Bohemia Restaurant 2013. It offer steaks from Argentinian beef, a rich beverage menu with various draft beers and private wine. All rooms are very nicely furnished and offer free WiFi access. Free public parking is possible on the street during night hours. Daytime parking as well as parking in the hotel's fenced parking lot 98 feet from the hotel, are at an additional cost.

The price, parking and a quick walk into the town center made the hotel a nice place to sleep for our stay. The breakfast was good and the staff friendly.

Good location, a few minutes walk to the main square. Quiet area. The room is clean, the beds are comfortable. Rich breakfast.

The hotel is in a nice location close to the city center. Parking was possible on the street around the hotel - free on weekends and paid on workdays (not too expensive). Our room was clean and well equipped. Breakfast was perfect - wide selection and very tasty (available until 11am).
Pillow, the room was a bit small for 4 people.

Warm, friendly staff. Quiet hotel, five minute taxi ride or twenty minute walk from the train station and close to the Pilsen Brewery for the famous tour. Lovely breakfast prepared with great care. Close to a really big inexpensive grocery store, McDonald's & a great hardware store that sells practically everything. Great value for money.
No complaints at all. If you have a lot of bags, you do need a taxi.

Very clean and spacious room. Perfect for our family of 4. A/C works perfectly. I enjoyed the shower water pressure.
The fact that you have to find a parking spot (not always there’s a free spot nearby) to do the check-in and then get the remote for the parking hotel.

Hotel was clean and relatively comfortable (if you avoid banging your head on the low eaves).
Avoid this hotel if you travel on Sunday - it is closed, locked up, no staff. Imagine after a long journey and long walk, finding the hotel shut. After eventually making phone contact with administration they explained a lockbox. Nothing was said in the hotel description about a lockbox and no code received (unlike the lovely apartment in Prague the next night which gave early information on lockbox and provided code before I travelled - since I had no internet or email access en route). Since there were no staff or food, I tried to leave heavy camera and couple of other items in room safe to go out to eat, but the safe had a notice that the key was available from reception (and reception was closed and shuttered).
