I liked the crisp white bedding.
The location is not far from the centre but surprisingly quite noisy and to get there from the main train station, I had to navigate some very busy streets. What I did not appreciate was a night club (gentlemen's club) in the same street. There were only very sheer curtains in the room and it was very difficult to find a electric socket that worked even after I switched off the main light. In fact, I had to charge my phone in the socket that would have been used for the night light. The other thing I didn't like was a large stain on the generally very dirty-looking carpet.

just across the river from the square, go over the bridge and left to stadium and Brewery.
Dirty streets, rundown buildings in downtown being remodeled. Check in and breakfast at neighboring hotel , Roudna Hotel. parking on street free on weekends but cost to park during weekdays.

Excellent breakfast. Fresh fruit and vegetables, cakes and vanilla pudding. Secure parking allthough parking on the street is also possible..
Room could use a renovation, but price quality it was ok. Room was larger than normal.

Bed and desk were fine, wifi was good. Quiet location.
Not very clean. It was clear that the toilet seat and the desk had both not been cleaned much, if at all. The shower head would not stay in the caddy normally, in part because the caddy was broken. You either have to hold it the whole time or squeeze it in at a different part to get it to stay, but then it's at a strange angle. Breakfast is not very good, I skipped it after the first day. One of the flights of stairs had a broken light, which made it dangerous to try to go down the curved steps in the dark.

Nice, spacious room. Very clean. Friendly staff at the reception. Comfortable beds with decent pillows. Quiet at night.
Reception isn't always staffed. The quality of the food & coffee at breakfast wasn't great imho, but okay.

Very clean, comfortable bed, good location close to the city center. Breakfast is decent.
This is not their fault, but it can affect your stay: we had a room facing the back yard and at night there was a terrible smell coming from outside.

I booked a single room arriving on a warm day and really appreciated elevator, getting a twin room with airconditioning - not needed much but taking a couple of degrees off was great. Lots of space, fridge and kettle, mainly quiet street in nice area close to centre, supermarket, very good breakfast available 7-11am.
