Disappointing
Booking.com ad was deceiving. Parking was mentioned amongst the facilities the hotel offers but not a word was mentioned about how ridiculously expensive it is
The man at the reception on 20.2 was unfriendly, unpleasant and unprofessional. I suspect i was charged excessively for parking. 700kc for two nights on a weekend.

1. Nice and calm building.

1. During my visit, swimming pool didn’t work because of malfunction.
2. I had my room in front of hotel service room and workers were pretty noisy early morning.

The location is perfect, although not suitable if there are walking difficulties. Spa options on site.
The colour scheme is awful and the pictures shown are not quite what is to be found in reality. The room category apparently was de luxe. However, it was just a standard room. Parts of the building are in need of an upgrade, like the carpets (discoloured, stained). The breakfast room when fully occupied feels crammed. The staff takes your plate away while you're still eating. The food was fresh, although it's the usual bohemian style... Too fat, too sweet. Not healthy at all.

We like the location, breakfast option and massages we had. The garden with the seating area was very nice. I appreciate that the restaurant was able to provide gluten free and dairy free options for breakfast.
The sauna could be improved, it's rather small and the sitting area doesn't feel very cozy.
The quiet times should be upheld by staff as well. There could be more options for vegetarian and vegan lunch, or healthier food in general (it's a spa after all). The TV should have an option to switch to the original language because currently one can watch only Czech, German and Russian speaking TV.

The hotel has been smartly refurbished since my last visit a year ago, and the breakfast is also improved, with a good variety of fresh fruit. My room was spacious, warm and well-lit, the housekeeping was good, and a nice touch was a thick-cotton bathrobe.
This was the first time I have stayed on the third floor, and the wifi varied from feeble to non-existent. The angle of the shower head when in its socket, combined with the low water pressure, meant I could only take a shower by crouching down, and the sink plug did not work. I have been using this hotel for several years, and this time got the room for an excellent price, but the very poor wifi will stop me risking staying there next year.
