Numerous available facilities for recovery and recreation. This hotel chain has it all. The location is good and somewhat close to the city center and the river promenade which is full of restaurants!
Rigidness of some of the hotel staff, cold and one-time judgmental response and general indifference to certain aspects of changing schedules or adapting to different circumstances. I was slightly frustrated at one point trying to cancel only one of my appointments and I was almost scolded for even wanting that. Going to actually cancel to Mercedes house was a piece of cake and lasted one minute.
Feels like I am privileged to be there and not the opposite. Customer service needs a moral boost (or maybe salary boost too).

This we have traveled with 9 months baby. We had very good crib in our room. Also we could always smth pick to eat for our baby from buffet. Staff wsa very helping and friendly with kid.

Initially, they gave me a ground-floor room that smelled bad. When I spoke to the receptionist about it, he refused to give me a different room, saying that all the rooms were fully booked. Afterwards, I spoke to another receptionist, who said that housekeeping would check the room and, if they found any problems, he would change our room. This back-and-forth went on for 2–3 hours, and eventually, they gave us a better room.
We had booked a half-board stay, meaning breakfast and dinner were included. It was mentioned that they provide vegan options, but in reality, there were hardly any good options available. My friend had to eat potatoes, salad, and fruit, which was unacceptable considering that vegan options were supposed to be provided.
For dinner, we had to go to the blue building, while breakfast was served in the green building, where we were staying. I don't understand why they couldn't provide all the meals in the same building where we were accommodated.
The hotel has three buildings but only one swimming pool and a small whirlpool that can accommodate only 4–5 people. When we went to the pool and wanted to use the sauna, we found that it was out of order.
Overall, the experience was disappointing, especially considering the issues with the room, the limited vegan food options, and the inadequate wellness facilities.

Spa Resort Sanssouci is a good value and a decent location (~10-15 minute walk to the city center of Karlsbad). The breakfast was nice and had plenty of options. The rooms are basic, but have everything you need. In case you need any snacks, the hotel has a to-go area with a variety of foods, drinks, and emergency items, like toothpaste.
One of the saunas was closed without any forewarning. In general, the pool and hot tub area are quite small for the amount of people staying at the hotel. The hotel room was clearly old and not recently renovated. Parts of the wall/wallpaper were bubbled and peeling in the bedroom and bathroom.

Not really sure if i LIKED something in particular. Everything was OK, but nothing really good.
The breakfast was bland and the variety was poor. The room, as well as the hotel itself remind me of those seaside hotels in eastern Europe, in 1995. Rusty balcony, old carpets in the room, wooden squeaky beds, that specific old smell, completely bored personnel (breakfast and reception), the sauna was under construction, room cleaning starts knocking at 7.... and much more.
I don't say it's bad, but the years have passed over those booking.com photos.

We found the spa procedures to be quite good and the staff at both the restaurant and the cafe were excellent. The food offered was great too, and the pool provided a pleasant experience.
The receptionists at the Blue House part weren't as helpful as one would expect them to be. The checkout process was slow, even with two people working at the reception. Also, online communication with the hotel is slow and confusing. Lastly, the rooms aren't equipped with any kind of air conditioning, so it can get pretty hot in the rooms during the summer.

Our room at Spa Resort Sanssouci exceeded expectations. It was comfortable, quiet, and offered a lovely view that made the stay even more enjoyable. The overall ambiance of the resort is peaceful and welcoming. Highly recommended.

The hotel is clean and well maintained, but looks very outdated. It's a 20 minutes walk to the center. We stayed for the film Festival so we didn't try the Spa. Room was okay. Breakfast had plenty of options, but the quality wasn't great. Overall an okay stay, but felt overpriced.
No air-conditioning and no fan in the room, so the only option to cool the room down in the summer is leaving the windows open and use earplugs against traffic noise. The room looks old and could use restyling. The pillows on the bed are very uncomfortable.

Ubytování má sice starší vybavení, ale na přespání bohatě stačí, postel byla moc příjemná a pokoj měl nádherný výhled. DO centra je to ani ne 15 minutek, jen počítejte s cestou do kopce. Snídaně měla vše, asi jediné, co nás mrzelo, že neměli vždy míchavá vejce a lívance moc nedoplňovali, ale vždy si člověk vybrat.

Clean and quiet, not too far from the main tourist attractions.
Breakfasts and dinners in the hotel restaurant are excellent, great buffet choice.
Most of the staff are quite friendly and polite.
Some local staff were very rude (at the reception, and in the spa area) - not everyone, just a few episodes, but enough to spoil the overall experience.

1/10 – Extremely disappointing welcome and unacceptable treatment
I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience during check-in at this hotel was unacceptable.
After driving for approximately five hours, I arrived exhausted and urgently needed to use the restroom before completing the check-in process. I politely explained that I had a reservation and asked if I could quickly use the bathroom first.
The receptionist refused and insisted that I hand over my passport before I could use the restroom. I explained that I could not wait, but my request was still denied.
A second staff member then told me that I could not use the restroom because my reservation was in another building of the same hotel complex. During the conversation, he made the comment, “This is Europe, not Dubai,” in what I perceived as a sarcastic manner. I found this remark disrespectful, unnecessary, and completely inappropriate for someone working in hospitality.
I travel frequently throughout Europe and have stayed in many hotels. I have never experienced such a lack of empathy or professionalism. Hospitality begins with treating guests with respect and basic human decency, especially after a long journey.
The facilities may be good, but first impressions matter. Unfortunately, my stay started with an experience that made me feel unwelcome rather than valued as a guest.
I hope the hotel’s management investigates this incident and provides additional customer service training to prevent other guests from having a similar experience.

Wide range of medical/SPA treatments. Hotel is located away from the city in a quiet area.
Parking is limited and not included in the price (needs to paid separately). Only 2 elevators and only one of these goes to parking garage (absolute nightmare during rush hours). Not enough beds/chairs in the pool area. Bad WiFi.

The hours to the facilities were stupid and felt very limiting, we walked every were which is ok for us but definitely know it was a alot of steep hills and stairs.

Great location deep in the heart of spa country, with the main area readily walkable for us (almost 70) and quite comfortable. The swimming pool was nice, with whirlpool and two nice saunas. Breakfast was fabulous, quite extensive and offering a great variety of international and Czech specialties. Staff were attentive and helpful, rooms were really nice and clean, with very comfortable beds. We didn't partake in the spa offerings otherwise, but they looked to be extensive and comprehensive. We really enjoyed our stay for two nights here!
As is often a problem at spas, the lounging chairs at the swimming pool were completely claimed first thing in the morning, making it less comfortable to go swimming. This is not so much an issue with this hotel, but a general problem at such spas. There were no electrical outlets next to the bed, an oversight in this day and age of smart phones...
