Exceptional
Gorgeous buildings with very classic interior and antique wooden furniture, everything is clean and nice. They provide you with bath robes and slippers in the room. SPA facilities are very clean too, not that many people were there during our stay, so it felt very comfortable to spend our time there, also you can get to SPA directly from your buildings through underground tunnels, no need to go out. Breakfast has wide variety of dishes, very enough to get full.
The hotel is situated on the hill a bit higher than pedestrian zone of Karlovy Vary, so you need to go up for some time to get back to the hotel, for us it wasn’t a problem.

Nice elegant hotel complex ,a walking distance to many attractions. The breakfast buffet was good and nicely arranged. The car parking needs reservation and extra payment . They only need to increase staff who can speak english.

The hotel is not very special, but everything you need for your holiday is there. The room is very big, but a bit outdated. However, it is very clean! The available spa is nice, the big pool is a bit cold, but the jacuzzi and saunas are great.
The breakfast was okay, for such a big hotel you could expect something a bit more special, but everything you need is there.
The parking fee of 20,- euros is very high.

Wonderful stay! The breakfast was delicious, the staff was friendly and attentive, the location was excellent, and the room was spotless. Highly recommend!
Just keep in mind that parking comes with an additional charge 20 euro/day

The hotel is a part of a complex of more buildings, the room itself has an old Czech villa vibe. So if you are looking for a modern thing you might want to look for something else. I personally enjoyed it a lot. The rooms are spacious and clean. My room also had a beautiful balcony overlooking the city. The whole place is very quiet, another thing that I consider a plus.
The spa is OK, I think I caught a moment where there weren't a lot of people in the hotel and not a lot of kids. So all of the villas belonging to the hotel Bristol are connected via underground corridors that lead to the pool and wellness centre which is convenient. They do seem like liminal spaces at times (cause it's long corridors, with lights turning on as you walk, a lot of mirrors, and most of the times you won't run into anyone) but hey, at least you don't have to go out in the cold. I actually enjoyed that part a lot ? the spa itself is just ok. The pool is in my opinion smaller than it looks in the photos, and if you really want to swim around, you can when there's no more that 3 people in the pool with you. If you just want to chill in the pool, it will be great for you. Some people said the water was cold in the pool, to me it wasn't (although I was the one swimming ?). There is also a whirlpool where the water is warmer but there were always more people in it so I didn't end up trying it out. The sauna Is small (there is a separate one for women) but it was just fine and I was alone every time. Maybe the showers are a bit dated. There are also massages you can book, dr appointments (apparently) but I didn't try this out. My main impression of the spa area is that ...well at the entry you are given a towel and off you go, no one is really monitoring what's going on inside. This time though I didn't mind it.
- most of the staff don't speak English. Czech, German, Russian are all OK, English.... good luck.
- there is no way you will be checked in your room earlier even if it's free, but the cleaning staff will enter your room multiple times before 10am on the day of your check out
- the food is really subpar for this place. It's not inedible but really bellow the quality of everything else
- the hotel is on a hill, overlooking the main promenade. It is less than 10 min walking to the main streets but if you have bad knees going up hill, and it is quite steep, or up a lot of stairs will not be comfortable (for me this wasn't a negative thing but it could be a problem for someone)
- the beds are not the most comfortable - the mattress so so but the pillows are extremely flat and soft

Parking crowded , but creative with parking spots
During breakfast there was only one functioning coffee machine which led to long queues and you had to wait for more than 10 minutes for a simple coffee. Please have filter coffee prepared in such cases.
I had booked a massage for 5pm and had to wait for 30 minutes (while the staff took a break), this would be ok if they informed in advance that the massage will only start later.
The rooms need a better cleaning from time to time- a lot of spots on the wall and dust on the furniture.

Breakfast was nice and the position is few minutes walking from the colonnade. Our room was big but very old style( this is the style of the hotel).
The service at the restaurant was very slow. Not for the waitresses but waiting for the meal.
The quality was fine but long wait to get your food.
The swimming pool should be warmer especially winter time, it was really cold...

Lovely historic complex, very kind staff, close to the center, very good breakfast.
Great relax stay.
Turkish sauna too hot, dry sauna too small (only 3-4 guests at once). Rules in sauna not visible.

Your staffs were very unpleasant during check in. Place for my car wasn't on the parking place but to lawn. In our room wasn't heat because it was turn off central heating. I'm very disappointing with your accommodation.

Beautiful property. We liked the layout with the park and view of the town. Our room was large and clean. Pool area was wonderful as well.
Pool water could be warmer. Didn’t like all the sign in Russian language everywhere, why not in Czech this is Czech Republic.
