We loved the location and having a balcony overlooking the river. Our host was very welcoming and friendly. It was only a short and easy walk from the old town square to the pension.

I am rather critical person and have visited dozens of apartments and this is the only ideal apartment I have seen! You will find wonderful view from the balcony, very friendly host, everything you need and even more like the foam to the bathroom!

The room was so cosy and had everything you could possibly need (from tea and coffee to toiletries). Amazing, spacious balcony looking onto the river. The bed was beautifully with white and cream linen and cushions. The whole place is spotless and very well looked after. Last but not least, the owners are wonderfulvery welcoming and friendly! We look forward to our next visit.

We were given a very warm welcome by the owners, who found us a place to park our car nearby at no cost. The rooms were clean, with a quirky decorative style, and well equipped. The location was excellent, quietly situated but within easy walking distance of the centre, and we were able to have breakfast on the riverside terrace one morning. The breakfasts provided by Irena were delicious but huge, and we couldn't do them justice! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this accommodation.
The shower was not very powerful. The mattresses were too hard for me, and although I slept well they made my back ache.

We arrived to a very warm and friendly welcome from Irene the owner. The pension is such a homely place with a lovely riverside location and terrace. Very comfortable beds! Continental breakfast was lovely and included fresh breads, a selection of ham and cheeses, muesli and granola and fruit and great coffee....and doughnuts! Irene was very kind giving us tips on the must-see places, letting us leave bags well after checkout and ordering us a taxi back to the station at the end of the stay, ensuring we got off on time. She was an excellent host!

We spent a month in Europe and this property was by far the best despite being one of the most reasonably priced.

The host and hostess were fantastic! Very accommodating and even gave us a ride to the bus station. We wish we could have stayed longer, but we loved staying at the pension! I would give an 11 if I could!

We loved the location of the Pension, right on the river and a little bit away from the busy centre. It was so relaxing to sit on the balcony and look at the view after a day of exploring. Ivor and Irene were very lovely hosts. The breakfast was fresh and fantastic, with everything we could have wanted.

Breakfast was absolutely fresh and delicious, prepared with great love! We appreciated the hosts' kindness and goodwill. The first bridge to the old town is within four minutes of walking, yet very quiet. The river can be very loud at high water levels, which is not disturbing at all when windows are closed for the night, i.e., in the Spring or Fall.
Ladies, wash your hair prior to arriving - the water volume in the shower is very thin - but doable, I can tell. So don't let this hold you back from choosing this lovely room! :)

Irenas is really an amazing hostess! She is kind and been really helpful for everything we need! The house is like a dream house with lovely balcony face the river view and we had a pleasant stay there! Oh and the breakfast which Irenas prepared was awesome!
