Pension Marie — design accommodations in the heart of Český Krumlov. Stay right in the historic center of Český Krumlov (UNESCO) — steps from the main square and a five-minute walk from the castle. The house was fully renovated in 2026 in an airy, minimalist design that lets the traditional period Czech architecture shine. Pension Marie offers five double rooms and two quadruple rooms, each with its own modern private bathroom and toilet, fast Wi-Fi and thick, comfortable mattresses. Breakfast is served in the restaurant on the ground floor of the house. Check-in is self-service and keyless, with flexible arrival times. Parking is available at the P1 car park, a five-minute walk from the house (paid).

Exceptional
This was an absolutely perfect stay in Cesky Krumlov, Czechia. The staff was extremely welcoming and accommodating. Even though it was the holiday, they enabled us to check in early and check out late since our train was leaving a couple hours after checkout, which we appreciated greatly. Gabrielle was so friendly when we first arrived and helped provide extra pillows. She went out of her way to make us feel welcome. The water pressure is great. The bed was comfortable and there was ample room to stretch / exercise and relax within the room. We would highly recommend Pension Marie to others and hope to return someday to this charming village.

Location
No facilities, no kitchenette. No comfort at all. Very old place with just a bed to sleep, that's all. Not worth the money at all.

the town is charming. The rooms are very good.
A handrail on first flight of stairs is desperately needed. The town is so difficult to get around that if you have a car, go first to tourist information on the square. Otherwise, stay outside original village and take taxi.

Clean and comfy, located in the heart of the old town. Self-service, met no-one during the whole stay. Ideal if you want to sleep in clean room with comfortable bed and you are not looking for any extras.
You have to traverse narrow and long staircase to get to most of the rooms - not a problem for me, but someone could find it difficult. Also, you only get one key from the room.

The staff was super helpful and friendly. The location was great!
There is no lift and because of the Christmas market the city was close for some cars ( mine) so we had to have the support from the Pension Marie to pick up and drop off us.

Location, staff, warm room
Towels were old and smelly somehow, curtains not blackout and were not covering the whole window, shampoo only small and bad quality, no TV, parking needs to be paid and it is 10 min away, breakfast was poor and plates not clean, walls thin, bed uncomfortable, could be cheaper for all mentioned above

Location
There was a sweat smell from the pillows, bed sheets, and/or duvet covers. They are all in dark colour, so are the towels. We booked two rooms. Our friends' room had no internet connection. The breakfast is very poor.

Great location near the main square. Very old with character.
We were on the top floor- so lots of stairs. Very hot up there with no air con or fans. No tea and coffee making facilities. Bed mattress needs to be replaced. Linen made of a seersucker so not comfortable to sleep on. Towels also need an upgrade. Wouldn't allow us to leave bags there for the day after checking out.

The room is quite spacious.
The place is very noisy at night till midnight, even after closing the window. One should wear ear plugs to sleep. The bed has squeaky sound when one turns.
