It's a beautiful historic building within easy walking distance to the charming town.
I paid for a Deluxe Double Room but I believe our room was a regular Double Room, so that was disappointing. It was nowhere near as large as the room shown in the photos that I had booked. The room was quite small, and it was warm and stuffy when we walked in. When I couldn't get the A/C to work, I called Reception only to be told that it had been turned off in the entire hotel "because the weather had cooled down"!! In fact, it was still around 25 degrees each day we were there (24-26 Sept). Fortunately, the receptionist arranged for a standing fan to be brought to our room so the air could at least be circulated. I wouldn't call the bed "extra large" as our feet touched the bottom and we are not very tall people. We could hear the loud TV from the adjoining room through the wall. The bath has no shower curtain so the bathroom floor gets wet. You can only hang a few items in the closet (not a huge deal as we were only there 2 nights). Minimal hotel amenities, just access to a small pool; everything else expensive. No ice machine; you have to walk a long way to the kitchen to ask for it. The bar seemed rarely attended. Unfortunately, we didn't have a 5-star experience at this hotel. It's a shame, as it's a beautiful building.

Perfect location right in the center and only 5 min from the international bus stop.
Uncomfortable beds with very thin mattresses. The pool is very small and the pool attendant was unfriendly. Rest of the staff are nice though.

this Is not a 5* hotel. expensive parking, very poor spa (entrance to the spa is extra cost and not free for guests.) old furniture, no amenities in the bathroom etc.

The location was great and the swimming pool and spa area is a really good facility. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the parking is close by.
Despite the hotel confirming my request for a double bed I was placed in a room with 2 singles. It didnt effect me too much as I was only staying 1 night. The room wasnt the cleanest, especially the wooden floor had a lot of dust and hair on it. The building is historic and the interiors are quite original, so theres no soundproofing. The air conditioning leaked down the wall.

The Hotel itself is at a very good location, It is a Historic / Ethnic design. The staff was good and supportive, rooms were clean and nice. The breakfast had a variety specially for my family who is vegetarian had some options as well.
If reception tell about some of the services in Hotel and places in hotel where we can spend some time that would have been good. As we missed to visit / enjoy river view from the restaurant in Hotel.
