Located just 328 feet away from the main square of Český Krumlov, the Hotel Arcadie lets you discover all important sights of this charming town on foot. The hotel building, built in Gothic style in the 14th century, used to be one of the largest buildings in the town. According to historical sources a prominent family of famous stonecutters from Krumlov used to live in this building in the 16th century. Despite the restoration and modernization of the interior, the hotel has kept its historic ambiance intact. The Hotel Arcadie offers accommodations in a quiet and peaceful location. We were greeted by a very friendly front desk person. She was helpful throughout our stay. The location was perfect, near the town center but very quiet. The view of the castle from our room was spectacular.

Awesome location and the staff was wonderful. The hotel decor and rooms were fantastic and made the stay special !
No AC, but could open windows, had fans, cooled off at night, and was still comfortable in the summer.

We booked a Castle View suite which was roomy and the balcony had an incredible view across the valley. The bed was very comfortable. The staff was very helpful, particularly with dinner reservations and taxis.
My one minor complaint would have been that there is no in-room kettle or coffee machine. There was coffee available up two flights of stairs in a breakfast room but it would have been nice to have not have to leave our room first thing.

Teresa the manager took care of any need we had immediately. She was determined to provide us with an excellent experience.
There is a ten minute walk for paid parking as there is none within the old city. This is manageable as we were able to bring the car close to unload and load.

Clean, luxury and fancy room with all the amenities you need ( even a Toto style toilet seat) The ladies at the reception were very attentive and helpful breakfast at the Rose hotel was good
There was no complimentary mineral water in the room ( at the rate of the room it should be included) and there was noise from the pizzeria above until almost 23.00. When we entered the room there was a bit of unpleasant sewage smell probably coming from the bathroom, we left the window open in the bathroom which seemed to solve the problem.
