Hotel location was optimal for our specific needs, but it may not be for everyone. Close to a large mall, but not much else. Rooms were pretty large, with small kitchen included (mini fridge, micro, plates, cutlery, etc. The hotel only has breakfast, which was adequate for our needs. This is a very capable "travel" hotel,

We had a very warm welcome from the friendly receptionist of the hotel. She checked our booking, we got all details we needed (wifi, times of breakfast, 24 hours front desk in case we would need something,...) and she told us how to get to the city centre (there is a bus next to Tesco or you can walk). You don't have to pay for the car park in front of the hotel. The room (and the whole hotel) was very clean and nice. There is a little kitchen in the room, a spacious bathroom, a comfortable bed and a little desk with seat. The upper floors can be reached by lift. Next to the hotel is Tesco (which is open till the late evening) for little things to buy. The hotel is situated quite fine for walking to the city centre. It took us just about 20 minutes along the main road to get there. Breakfast is served as a buffet with many different things to choose from. Very delicious. The check-out was easy and the woman at the desk was very friendly. We really enjoyed our stay at Vaka hotel and will be back next time we visit Brno.

The room was well furnished, equiped, clean and generally very comfortable. The personell was professional. Great for short-term or a business stay.
Located next to an ash fly concrete production facility, which makes the hotel good only for non-leisure stays.
