The new Hotel Vaka is located in a quiet area near the center of Brno and close to the Královo Pole shopping mall and offers tastefully furnished modern rooms with kitchenettes. All rooms feature a small kitchenette with a microwave oven, a plasma satellite TV and a laptop-size safe. The city center is reachable by car within 5 minutes (10 minutes by public transport) and the Brno Exhibition Center within 10 minutes (25 minutes by public transport). Wireless internet access is available in the entire Vaka hotel free of charge. A complimentary buffet breakfast is served every morning and guests get a 10% discount in a nearby restaurant. About 5 minutes from the Hotel Vaka there is a sports and wellness center and a large park. You can park your car for free on site.

Clean room, free parking and location close to Bobby Hall where we attended an event. Also it's right next to a big shopping mall.
The breakfast food was below average. The room for food was small I'd say for the number of rooms it should be double or triple the size including number of tables.

The hotel is super clean and cute. It's location is very good beside a big mall with many shops and restaurants. It's a bit far from the city center (20 mins by bus) but it's connected by a bus station in front of the hotel, easy hop on and hop off.

great breakfast, excellent bedding, small kitchenette and small fridge - all thing you need, spacious and floor heated bathroom makes your day.
first entering the room incited unpleasant smell, after short opened window ventilation and starting the air conditioning, all gone. absolutely no downs beside of this issue.

Disappointing
The room was very small, in case you open 2 suitcases, there is no more place to move in the room. The carpet on the floor was dirty. The pillow extremely unconfortable. The TV is smaller than a computer monitor. It was actually the smallest I saw so far. The breakfast had limited choices. The sweets were probably from the supermarket and even those were cut in half. I never saw croissants cut in 2 pieces before. We chose to change the hotel after 2 nights. Maybe the conditions would be acceptable for a different price. We paid around 200 euros for 2 nights. For me it looked more like a 2 stars hotel than 4.
