I really like this hotel and I often stay in it when visiting Brno. It's close to the downtown area of the city center and to the railway station and bus terminal. The rooms are spacious and clean, the decor is lovely, the beds are comfy and there is a carpet which makes it cozy. there is complimentary water and a coffee maker, which makes it very pleasant and you feel like at home. The staff are friendly and welcoming. One can leave their luggage at the reception upon early arrival or late departure which is very important for me for short stays. I will certainly return next time.
My room got a bit noisy at night since there's a busy road close to the hotel but fortunately it was a one-time issue. There wasn't a window in the bathroom making it a bit dark.

Great locatiion, cozy and spatious rooms, very clean. Very robust walls -no sounds from neighbouring rooms. Excellent staff.
Noisy lift, but it was only problem in the morning.

The Grand Hotel is in a good location for transport and for the city centre. The hotel is generally of good four-star standard in a historic building, which makes for a nice atmosphere. The staff were extremely helpful.
Parking and breakfast are rather expensive but there are cheaper alternatives nearby.

If I really have to point anything out is the use of floor carpet. It already had a lot of stains around the coffee table and as eastern block guy it just feels wrong to walk on it with a shoe (also the existencial fear of staining it myself). But this is really nitpicky the place was grand.

Helpful, English speaking, and friendly staff, at reception and in restaurant. Good breakfast and on the night i ate there, dinner as well. Large bed room and attached bathroom but sadly i was at the back so had no view. Convenient for railway station and key tram stops.
lack of view from my room. the silly little pod device for coffee (which to make tea you had to run throw several times as otherwise the hot water came out brown).
