Great service and the all inclusive was worth it! Could enjoy the vacation without a worry. Pretty good meals too, a lot of options in each meal.
A bit outdated, the mattress is old and with a hole in the middle, gave us a backache and was difficult to sleep

The Hotel itself was fine but overall not great value for money and very expensive compared to other hotels in the area. Facilities were nice but check in was very poor having to wait till 2pm official check in and then being told that the room was still not ready till 2:45
Aircon - it was poor and on a central timer so kept turning off in middle of night - so woke up hot - the corridors had no AC making the hotel very stuffy

The Constantinou hotel chain is really massive laying along the beach, many buildings, nice view from all rooms to the sea. Both interior and exterior is well equipped! There are countless sunbeds, outside armchairs, cabanas (cabana can be booked for a daily fee), 20 seconds from the sea.
At Athena Royal Beach hotel there are 3 outside pools and one inside pool approachable from the spa area - they are open from Sunrise ro Sunset (the inside pool is open until later, 8pm)
There are 5 restaurants that we counted. They are operating in different times of the day. 2 of them is serving continental/ cypric breakfast in the morning. 1 is open during the day with desserts, snacks and easier a là carte food like gyros, picca, sandwitches etc. 2 restaurant is serving lunch and dinner only. - the open times for all are in an information sheet given at the check-in. The food in any of the day can be enjoyed with the nice view to the sea. There are also 3 bars - one outside operating during the day, and one inside opearting at night, also one bar on the top of the building where the sunset can be enjoyed!
About the service: one of the best service ever we received during our stay!!! Everyone is friendly and professional. There are daily free activities can join in, and they are creative as well - how they make traditional greek coffee, frapè, cooking show at the pool area, Elvis remebrance evening, lightshow with dancers etc.
We visited in a time where there was a farewell to the season event with freshly grilled barbeque, countless starters, desserts and traditional cypric foods and music, with dance show!
Really amazing experience throughout our stay, the food was amazing during any courses of the day - even the food at the buffet was really high quality, not dried out, freshly cut to order meats, with countless possibilities of desserts, cheeses, breads, starters, side dishes, with cypric food!
The whole experience was amazing, we did not have any issue with the hotel, the services, the quality!

The location, the room the staff and especially the housekeeping lady that cleaned Room for 4439 . Her standard of cleanliness was excellent. The breakfast was excellent and activities a plenty.
The only thing I could mention would be to improve on the coffee machines at breakfast. Maybe buy some new ones that produce better coffee. The only other thing was talking to a lady who was elderly and she was saying that she found it very difficult to use the shower attachments in the bath which I would agree with if you were elderly.

Our stay was fantastic! Breakfast was so delicious, hotel's facilities were great, lovely pool area!
Very impressed with hotel's staff.The cleaning ladies were so polite and friendly. Spa staff simply amazing! Stefanos, the bar manager was so welcoming and provided very useful information about drinks! Wojtek, the entertainment leader went above and beyond to provide the best customer service, very responsible person! Ginevra, from entertainment was always smiling and ready to assist, lovely lady! Sander and Luca, greatly support the customers during activities!

The pool bar staff require customer service training. The staff behind the bar were very abrupt and rarely were we served at the sunbeds as the servers just hung around the bar. There was obvious tension between the staff behind the bar which made it uncomfortable. The housekeeping staff were lovely.

The breakfast was exceptional with so much choice, you couldn't want for anything. The freshly made omelettes were just perfect. Plenty of bread choice, lovely fresh fruit, smoked salmon if you wanted that. The room was a generous size, very quiet and a super comfy bed and terrific shower. It was lovely to sit on the balcony and look out to see. One special thing about this hotel is the gardens and grounds. Beautifully kept gardens and lots of palm trees to set under. We did go into the sea which was lovely but I would recommend beach shoes. The jetty that helps you get into the sea more easily was in need of repair so we walked into the sea from the beach. Having said this there are other beaches very close by with easier access which you can use. The service in the restaurant for evening meals was excellent and again, plenty of choice and good quality food. We would certainly stay here again should we return to Cyprus in the future.

The spa was amazing I had a massage and salt scrub, very professional and listened to what I didn’t want.
A bit old and tired.
We booked on B&B and had to go into restaurant when we arrived at 8pm had one plate of food and charged £26 each, very excessive. Maybe should be another option for people who have just arrived. We didn’t go back to the restaurant but ate out every night.
Pools were freezing cold, perhaps have a heated pool outside?
Entertainment is geared to the older generation, it was my 60th birthday and the entertainment was far too old for me.
