It was a penthouse view, and how close everything was to shops and the beach
When I arrived the apartment hadnt been cleaned yet, rather than sweeping the cleaner decided that mopping the floor would be enough, there was mold in the fridge, there isn’t enough water pressure to take a normal shower, even after the apartment was cleaned I didn’t have any bed sheets until later that evening, the manager made it seem like a big deal that I felt upset about the standard of living.

Unfortunately, the cleanliness is not to an acceptable level. The photographs appear to have been taken a very long time ago.

Location
Very dirty. They only change the sheets. Everything else was very dirty. No cleaning at all. Very disappointing. The worst experience we had.
Also inside the cupboards and the kitchenware were very dirty. We could not use any of these. Fridge was dirty as well. Veranda was very dirty as well. It looks like it hasn't been cleaned for ages. Behind furniture and beds were very dirty. And of course under them as well.
Also in common areas of the building were very dirty.
They delayed to give us the apartment because they told us that it was not be cleaned yet and we left. We arrived 2 hours later and we found a very dirty apartment.
The worst thing is that it has a very bad smell from the mold. Inside the toilet the smell was very bad. We could not sleep well at night. All of the walls were full of mold from some pipes the broke from the apartment above this one and the paint from the walls looks like will fall.
I felt very bad for my kids. I went there with 3 small kids (3,2,0). I was cleaning my self the apartment in order for us to be able to stay there and sleep.
No blackout curtains.
No comfortable beds.
Half of the lamps in the apartment were not working.
Some switch were open and very from the kids to touch them and get hurt.
Nothing alike as properties photos they are sharing in Booking. Smaller areas than photos provided.
At swimming pool area now it was ok. But some sunbeds were broken.

Our stay at Chloraka Terrace Apartments was absolutely wonderful, and a big part of that was thanks to Mario, the amazing host. From the moment we arrived, Mario made us feel genuinely welcome. He was friendly, helpful, and incredibly attentive—going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay.
The apartment itself was spotless, spacious, and beautifully furnished with a real sense of comfort and care. We loved starting our mornings on the balcony with breathtaking sea views. Everything we needed was provided, from a fully equipped kitchen to strong Wi-Fi.
The location is ideal—peaceful yet close to everything. We were just a short drive from Paphos, lovely beaches, and charming local spots that Mario was kind enough to recommend.
Mario truly made this stay special. His hospitality, local tips, and genuine kindness made us feel more like guests in a friend’s home than just visitors. If you’re heading to Cyprus and want a relaxing, comfortable stay with top-notch service, look no further than Chloraka Terrace Apartments.

Good location with a nice view. Good price. If you need something for a night or two it is fine.
Not clean nor comfortable. Need renovation but realistically for the price it is fair. Could use change of furniture and a cleaner entrance / lobby.

The location was ok and the fact it had space to park. The property layout was good. The host was helpful.
The smell was awful, I can’t quite put my finger on what the smell was but very unpleasant. It was dirty and grubby. Your feet stuck to the floor and the surfaces were sticky and grimy. The furniture is uncomfortable and has paint stained on it and the bed is like an ironing board, very hard. The shower was rusty and mouldy. Everything in the kitchen cupboards had to be cleaned before you could use. The pool was empty and a mess. The tiles on the balcony were loose and in the area outside it seemed to be full
Of cigarette butts, bottle tops and rubbish. Reception looked like steptoes yard!

Disappointing
It is very hard to say what we like as the general condition and communication with staff was very poor. The only one time someone answered my call was only to inform me where the key is (I have had to contact the property). However, when I've rang and emailed and asked for towels, then my calls were not answered, and there was no reply to my emails.
Diry, dusty rooms. Especially in the wardrobes and under the beds. Poor kitchen, greasy hood. Broken lift with open door downstairs and doors opening and closing automatically whole day and night.
Sofa bed in leaving room was so bad that we are filling bad back few days after the visit.
Value for money? NO! When you see the good value property on the website, you have the right to expect clean, good standard and safety for kids' property. Unfortunately, this one wasn't. I would rather pay more if I know this standard and owner attitude to its gues.
I wish I could ask for a refund for this unfair sales.
