This is the best hotel in all Cyprus! Super clean, super cozy, super comfortable. The stuff is amazing. Breakfast was good! Even slippers were provided! Unlimited water. Room is super cozy! It was my best stay in Cyprus!

The Axiothea Hotel is a stunning gem perfectly positioned in the heart of Paphos. Its location is ideal, offering easy walking access to the Old Town, the downtown district, and the mall. Perched atop a hill, the hotel provides a vantage point with views that are quite simply breathtaking.
From the moment we arrived, the reception team was exceptionally polite and accommodating. They were kind enough to arrange an early check-in for us and even surprised us with a complimentary room upgrade, which truly set the tone for our stay.
The breakfast was another highlight—impressively varied and delicious every morning.
However, what truly stood out was the impeccable standard of maintenance. As a professional in the hospitality industry myself, I have a very keen eye for detail, and I must admit that the cleanliness here was on a whole new level. The rooms were remarkably spotless, reflecting the staff’s dedication to excellence.
A sincere "Great Job" to the Axiothea team. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and look forward to returning!

This is a wonderful hotel. It does not set out to offer lots of additional facilities (gym, swimming pool etc) but it gets all the important things just right to offer a wonderful stay near the city centre. The hotel is located in a peaceful, quiet neighbourhood but it is within walking distance from the downtown area with lots of nice bars, restaurants and shops.
The rooms are of good size and spotlessly clean, including the bathroom. There is very hot water with good pressure in the shower at all times. The mattresses are of great quality and always feel fairly new. They are firm and comfortable, perfect for a good sleep.
The "sea view" rooms, have a balcony with beautiful unobstructed views over the hill across town all the way to the sea. It is really worth the slightly higher price.
The breakfast is varied and there is something for everybody whether you prefer cooked or continental breakfast and it is all fresh and of high quality. There are also some unique touches that you will not find elsewhere, such as the cooked vegetables, the home-made Cypriot preserves and the traditional syrupy fruit. All served with a smile and a kind word by the lovely lady who oversees breakfast.
This hotel is run by people who care about it and who strive to maintain a high standard. They are also, very friendly and happy to help and make sure you have the nicest stay possible.

We loved the hotel, the location was great because it was close to two of the major bus stations and the old city. The staff was amazing and very friendly, our room was cleaned daily. The breakfast was very delicious and with many options to choose from. We paid for a room with a balcony and we had an amazing view of the city and the ocean. The building is designed very well and we liked the interior design.

The view was excellent and the neighborhood was safe, clean and quiet. The hotel is also very handy to the bus terminal for excursions. Perfect choice unless you want to be right on the water (and in February I didn't need that).
I really liked the Muse restaurant just next door, but after that the choice of restaurants was a little limited.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Everything in the room is well thought out. The breakfast is delicious with a wide selection. I especially liked the location – in the historic Ktima district. A quiet area. I highly recommend this hotel.

This is a family run, no frills hotel with some of the best views in Paphos. The breakfast is wonderful with all the expected items as well as local fruit. The hotel is in the old city and you can take early morning walks and watch the sunset from the lobby which is windows all around.

The view from the room was spectacular and the breakfast was great, so many options. The staff were very helpful and the fact that the hotel had parking was a life saver. Not super close to the coast but in a very central location for everything else. Room was very basic but comfortable.

A great location, with parking and a nice neighborhood to explore.
Our room was compact, but so many details were exceptional: well designed facilities and excellent lighting.
The breakfast buffet was excellent with lots of choices and good coffee. Having a source for filtered water to refill our bottles was so appreciated.
And the staff were so friendly, welcoming, and helpful.

This is a charming family-run hotel, and everyone there is very nice and helpful. We only stayed one night -- we hadn't intended to even stay in Cyprus on that leg of the trip (only on the return leg later), but the plan required adjusting, so we didn't have a rental car. Another choice would have been to stay down the hill by a beach, but we chose to stay in the old part of the city, as we could explore on foot for a whole afternoon and evening. This hotel is well-placed for doing that. The room was small and simple but did have a window facing downhill toward the coast, and was very clean.
