The hotel is in a great location within easy walking distance from the main area for shops, bars and restaurants, but is far enough along the bay to be quiet and relaxing. The breakfast was always excellent and staffed very efficiently. The hotel staff were all excellent and the room we had, overlooking the pool and the sea was very clean and comfortable. They run a system for pool sun beds that means you have your own sun Beds allocated for the duration of your stay, which is an excellent bonus! We would definitely go back and would recommend this hotel. Although it is quiet a large hotel, 200 rooms, it still had a nice personal feel with excellent staff who managed all services with great efficiency. Excellent!

Good location, excellent food both buffet and in the a la carte restaurants. The food in 7 Orchids was superb. Very clean, nice pool and spa facility. Alexanders bar was pleasant and served great cocktails. All staff were very pleasant. We had a room overlooking the pool and sea which was worth the extra few pounds for the view.
They have a sun bed allocation system. The pool attendant allocates you your beds on arrival and they remain yours for the duration. This is great if you get one by the pool but in practice you can end up in the shade or down on the grass alongside the public promenade with members of the public just walking past you constantly and so you cant just pop in the pool and leave your belongings as you cant guarantee its safe. Its not a great system and it caused a lot of issues for guests at times down by the pool. I understand the hotel are trying to probably prevent people getting up early to lay down towels which I applaud, but this isnt the answer. Needs a strict policy eg. no towels to be left before 8.30am otherwise they will be removed and actually remove them. People will soon learn.

The private pool was nice although not as "private" as I thought it would be. The bathroom was very nice with a large shower and separate tub. Honestly the best thing we encountered at this establishment was the young lady at the hospitality desk. She booked our taxi ride for us and was just as friendly as could be. The location was excellent. We were able to walk to different shops and restaurants within a couple of blocks. I would say this was not a location for a "younger" crowd. It might have been the season, but I would guess 90% of the clientele were 75+. We were a bit on the young side.
The room was just a basic hotel room. For the price I expected better. I have stayed in much better hotels for far less money. One very annoying thing was the very small fridge. I took a couple of bottles of beer out of the mini bar so I could put in a couple of drinks I had. The next day I was interrupted by a staff member when I was sunbathing solely to bring me a note stating that I was not allowed to remove items from the mini fridge. I found it highly insulting since I only removed a couple of bottles that I fully intended to put back upon checkout. Nothing perishable was taken out. Also, on the first full day there, we left the room around 10:30, we put the "please makeup room" sign out. We did not return until late in the afternoon and our room had not been cleaned. The pleasant lady that came to turn our sheets down for the night took our trash out for us. I found the front desk staff a bit snobby. I felt a bit judged when checking in and out. Being from the USA, I think they had preconceived notions about us. Mind you, we were staying in one of their most expensive rooms, so not sure why they looked down their nose at us.

Great hotel, in a beautiful location, very helpful staff, everything is very clean, the premises are maintained. The room is comfortable, but does not correspond to the declared size, the bathroom is not very comfortable. The wonderful, perfectly organized breakfast left a great impression.
The room temperature cannot be adjusted independently. Our room was without a balcony with a glass wall facing the sea, so there was no roof to protect us from direct sunlight. Throughout the day, the sun heated the room through this wall. To avoid this, I would close the curtains and turn on the air conditioner when I left in the morning. However, every time the staff cleaned the room, they would draw the curtains, open the window and turn off the air conditioner. In the evenings it was very unpleasant to return to the hot room and it took about 2 or 3 hours before it got cooler. A very unpleasant experience that has not been experienced anywhere in the world. I understand that there are rules, but there are only three of these rooms in the hotel and if you are looking for great service, you have to comply. We arrived at the hotel from Ayia Napa, where we lived in 28 sq. m. in the room, but it was significantly larger even though you declare 35. Taking a shower is very uncomfortable - you have to stand in a slippery plasma bath. I did not understand the policy of changing beach towels - in 5 days they were changed twice and on the last day we went to the beach with towels that were wet from yesterday...

The hotel is at good location, at first line, although there is no sand on the beach, approximately 10 min. away from the harbor where the main restaurants and entertainment points are, including a castle and antique ruins from ancient Greek and Roman periods. The food was good and diverse and there were 3 a la cart restaurants with Italian, Asian and traditional cuisine. Also the hotel offers entertainment every night which is not frequently available at other hotels, although the performance is mostly amateurish. However,....
The main drawback of the hotel is the room disposition. In fact the hotel is situated in parallel to the beach and there are only two types of rooms - with sea views and with inland view. However, because the building has two wings which conclude some very small angle with the central part, the hotel sells the rear rooms in these wings as rooms with side sea view. This is considerable exaggeration because these rooms are situated above an open parking lot and look at a very busy road from where a lot of noise enters into the room and the sea can be viewed only by people with good imagination. However, the hotel charges these rooms at higher price which is completely unreasonable. profiting by the ignorance of its clients about the real disposition of the rooms. What is more the AC is too noisy and it is impossible to be used during the night when it is most needed, so the sleeping experience was not great forcing the guests to choose between the hot in the room and the noise from outside.

The hotel is just perfectgood value for money. Not a very large hotel, but with swimming pools, an indoor pool, a spa, a fitness center, 4 restaurants, special places for kids, shows, etc. Everything was within easy reach I liked the professionalism of the employees, and I liked the sunbed allocation system (You had sun beds allocated for your room and you didn't have to worry that someone else would take them). I also like that the staff will find available tables for us in the restaurants. The food was very good Very clean Easy access to the sandy beach Very good position, the town port (where all the action is), is only 10 minutes of easy walk on the beachfront. The city is also nice with history, museums, a zoo, and old ruins. You even get your personal old ruins (tombs) under the hotel and you can visit them. 16 Km or 15 minutes from the airport Just great
