The hotel is beautifully restored with a lot of character and charm. The room was clean, comfortable, and simple. The location is excellent, right in the heart of the old city, making it easy to explore Nicosia on foot. The host and all the staff were very welcoming and helpful, so all in all it was the perfect stay!
Nothing significant - everything met all my expectations and beyond.

Wonderful
The room is situated in an old nice renovated house in the ground floor. It was very calm because it is at the end of a small dead end street. It is close to the Girne street and close to the bus station for buses (in example to Girne). Situated in the old city within the city walls, you have short distances to the main attractions. But the surrounding maybe can be too dirty for some people.
Because of Genius we have had breakfast in the bigger, close hotel "Eagle Eye", which has a very nice breakfast room and a great breakfast with delicious homemade marmelades.
The owner was nice and helpful (for example for finding a taxi to airport).
Because it is in ground floor, all windows are to the street, so that we let them closed all the time (but not a really big problem in wintertime and when you are out the whole day).
For winter season the price was not really low.

Very nice place, has a special appearance, breakfast was simple and good. A place with special chick to it. We had contact with the host for everything we needed.
We arrived at night so the environment was not very pleasant.

Atmosphere of the hotel, nice cozy place, the location is close to touristic center, however neighborhood is very poor.
The service is very poor, as no one comes to the hotel to clean the rooms. The manager showed up once to receive the payment.

The apartment itself is lovely. Very pretty and lovely blue paint. Secure outside fob to get in or use the key. Once inside is reception and a small table and chairs in the courtyard shaded with an umbrella and the apartments around that. Bathroom has a washing machine even which is great, but we didn't use it. The bedroom had good air conditioning and also air con in the lounge area with a small table and sofa bed designed as the adult and kid room. Fridge in the bedroom also. 2 small waters and 2 earl grey tea bags provided. Nice place. Location is good for being 12 mins from Buyak Han and the central market. And maybe 20 from Ledra street crossing for shopping. Wasn't far and you can browse the shops and stalls on the way.
Kids tried to open our car door when we parked it directly out front. We could hear them from the room, and got a little paranoid about people going past the car.
Will post pictures of the area just behind the accommodation. You can park outside the museum in a small stretch of cars but it is tricky to navigate the small streets.

Really comfy, clean and cool place in the heat of Nicosia! Located just inside the Venetian walls in the North, it was a great location to explore both sides of the walkable city. The lady who checked us in was very friendly and helpful, and communication with the owner fast and efficient. Comfy beds, decent wifi speed, good water pressure, what more can you ask for!

Nice staff, very close to the North Nicosia Center, the room was wide and clean. There were small bottles with water for us.
Only the surroundings a little bit not cleared up, but no any stress or noise at all.

We stayed only for one night there. Very cooperative host. We were in contact while coming from south Cyprus and we arrived around 8pm. It's like 15-20 minutes away from the Ag. Dometios border. The reception lady was already there and waiting for us.
This place has only a few rooms and it seemed like there was no one else staying there for that night.
The room was well equipped and very clean and quiet.
We also found car parking on the street Ike 2 minutes away. Some restaurants and small shops are close, so we also enjoyed a nice dinner.

Place was nice when you occupy all rooms as a family.
Worst management i have ever seen.
I told them we were arriving late, they texted to me while on plane. So upon arrival i didnt know how to enter the hotel as they were gone. I needed to open my phone to international usage which costed me extra money.
Later they arrived to open the hotel and ask for the payment. And i told them they can charge via Booking.com as my payment information is available on booking. They refused that. I told them i would pay in credit card then they wanted 5% commission extra. They claimed that they wrote that to me yet it was not true. There were no written rules or conditions neither on booking nor anywhere.
Management is a disaster, although we said that we were there for my engagement ceremony and we were really busy, they kept insisting on payment. At some point i had to leave the bride to pay the money they want! So i had to withdraw cash from somewhere, where the banks didnt give that amount of money. That ruined my engagement ceremony preparations!
Plus i wanted written invoice as i paid in cash. They said they would prepare it and they wouldn't provide it. If they will not deliver any kind of invoice to me I will call the local tax office.
Other family members stayed in another place, they were given all the information before their arrival to hotel. They paid via credit card without any commission and get legit invoice.
Rooms were good enough. Bidets were not working, low water pressure. Not enough toilet papers, hand papers and soap.
