We are happy we found Casa Amalia!
This guesthouse is super clean and well cared for. It's in a great location, at just a short walk to Jan Thiel Beach.
The owner was very friendly, which made us feel right at home.
We highly recommend Casa Amalia if you're looking for a comfortable and affordable place to stay on Curaçao.
Great value for the price!!

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Amalia!
The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home.
We especially enjoyed spending time at Jan Thiel Beach.
All the nearby restaurants were excellent, offering a nice variety of delicious food.
We also appreciated having a supermarket close by.
The Spencer's will be back at Casa Amalia!

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Casa Amalia.
Our room (double bed) was very spacious and comfortable. The view is beautiful and the breeze is very nice.
Upon arrival, we received a paper mentioning the days that our room will be cleaned; Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The cleaning lady was very nice and did a good job.
It was low season and we really enjoyed the tranquility at Casa Amalia.
The owner is very friendly, and we could contact him via WhatsApp if needed. This gave us a feeling of security.
Every evening we enjoyed a different restaurant in the area. Sometimes we walked to the restaurants, because they are so close by.
Our compliments to Haitham (the owner).

Casa Amalia is a hidden gem and offers incredible value for your money.
The self-check-in system was super easy!
The statues in the courtyard and the beautiful murals really add a unique charm to the villa.
My room was spacious, spotless, and had a great AC.
The location is ideal, around the corner of the big resorts, and just minutes from Jan Thiel Beach and the Tugboat Beach. There are plenty of restaurants nearby (I liked Brisa Do Mar), and also a Dutch supermarket at Jan Thiel Beach.
I even discovered a scenic path that connects Jan Thiel Beach to Mambo Beach.
I highly recommend Casa Amalia to anyone looking for a local and safe getaway while enjoying great value.

Very Good
Resort owner was very hospitable together with the employees who worked there. If there was anything wrong it was also solved as much as possible. Definitely recommended to stay. Keep in mind to read on the website what you specifically rent. Differences in choice are enormous. Everything is neatly indicated on the website. And with great joy I look back on Curacao in a nice way.
There is actually nothing to complain about here. Everything went well and was arranged and if there was anything you could always go to the owner with questions.
Due to my own mistake of not having read everything on the website. I had rented a room and noticed that there was no public kitchen. It was clearly indicated on the website and I certainly learned from it.

As a flight attendant, I’ve stayed in countless hotels, but Casa Amalia truly feels like home.
It’s comfortable, affordable, and has a warm vibe.
I especially loved the unique handmade Amalia statues created by the owner. They add a personal and artistic touch to the place.
The self check-in method was super convenient, making the check-in smooth and hassle-free.
Nihaila (the housekeeper) is incredibly friendly, and the property is well-kept and spotless. Its location is ideal, away from mass tourism but still close to everything you could need. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, a supermarket, two beautiful beaches, a dive spot (The Tug boat), and even nightlife at Jan Thiel Beach.
I’m already looking forward to my next stay at Casa Amalia!
I'm very happy with Casa Amalia.
