The location is beautiful but this type of accomodation is just not my thing. There is no electricity in the cabins, something that is not indicated clearly. No electricity means no hot water and when it's cold out, a hot shower is appreciated. The water was ice cold. I'm all for saving the planet but I'm not ready to trun into a cave woman.
No electricity, no hot water, mosquitoes, wi-fi only available in dining hall which is open . I re-read the property description and still could not find where it stated the lack of electricity.

We arrived at dusk and it rained all night. Staying here offers an amazing opportunity to be completely off grid, in a cabin, in the jungle. Walter was a great host. Remember this is Costa Rica, don’t expect hot water!
or in this case electricity in the cabin. Walter gave us lanterns and we had a mindful quite night away from everything.
Due to the rain I was slightly cold at night, but plenty of blankets are provided.

I loved the experience of no technological contact, it is an awesome opportunity to stop the cheese raise and have a moment on your own, just listening to the birds and monkeys. You can walk through the mountain and see more animals and also a waterfall. It was the best experience ever.
I didn’t like that in the restaurant that I would think could be a place where you can contact your family or someone else, it didn’t had a great wifi, but it depend on the person, not a big deal.
