I loved this hotel; it was in the middle of the forest. The location was perfect because it was in between Puerto Viejo and Manzanillo, so everything was nearby.

Great location in playa Chiquita . Walk to beach great restaurants and market close by. Monkeys in the trees and even a sloth on the property . Pool was clean and refreshing .
The rooms are very open without screens and the living room space was uncomfortable . The staff offered an additional room which worked out nice for my family and I . Long walk to car in the rain wasn't too fun .

Breakfast in the morning was pretty decent.
The advertisement for the property was very misleading. I expected far better accommodates than I received. the location is very remote in the middle of nowhere. if you enjoy outdoor living in wilderness than you might like the place. entirely to much nature for me. no hot water, no AC, Electricity is poor, the pool has bugs, and spiders everywhere, and unknown animal roaming the property. I’m sorry I did not take any pictures I just want to get out of there.

we loved how it was surrounded by nature, nice and quiet.
the location was great for relaxing and going to the beach, with great restaurants nearby and not to far from Puerto Viejo in taxi.
we stayed in the original room we booked but it was by the reception and was a last minute booking. but we asked if there was any better rooms with air conditioning. the staff was brilliant and after 1 night they moved us to a new lodge nearer the pool area. also they new it was our honeymoon and gave us a bottle of champagne and flowers on the bed.
all in all great hotel and stay.
the lodge we first stayed in wasn’t as modern as the rest of the lodges we moved into.

Very nice and quiet place just outside Puerto Viejo. Staff is very friendly and there is a secure parking.. The cabins are beautifull and have a nice view on the forest. Nice and extensive breakfast.
