The lodge was so beautiful - the indoor outdoor living, the care taken to the garden, the space in general. Away from the chaos of puerto viejo but and easy drive into town if needed. Great recommendations from the hosts who were the loveliest couple that provided us with information about the area, fresh fruit, and a sense of immediate comfort. Waking up and seeing animals everyday was an added bonus!

Lovely property.
Great to watch the birds and fauna.
A little further from the hub of things than we thought .
The gravel road is very noisy and gets quite alot of trafic .

We enjoyed our stay at Los Delfines Lodge very much! Miguel and Marta are great hosts. They are extremely helpful, supported us, even washed and dried our cloth and drove us with their car. The house has a beautiful garden and a nice kitchen. We definitely recommend Los Delfines Lodge and would come again.

The hosts were attentive without being intrusive and were very helpful and considerate. They made us feel at home. The kitchen was very well equipped. the property was spacious.
We liked having use of bicycles and used them to cycle to Puerto Viejo and Manzanillo national park.
The Agouti in the garden was a bonus!
There was some road noise, but this was beyond the hosts’s control.

The place is amazing. Beautiful garden, very nice and well equipped house. Marta and Miguel are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We can really recommend this accomodation and we definitely will come back again, if we return to Costa Rica in the future.

We loved our stay at Los Delfines. The house was very spacious, had everything we needed (kitchen appliances, spacious rooms, terrace) and we had a great family vacation. The hosts were very kind and helpful. Everything was sparking clean and close to the amazing caribbean beaches. The property has an amazing garden, we even spotted a sloth! We will definitely be back!

Miguel and Marta were lovely hosts. Friendly &
very helpful. The whole property is absolutely gorgeous and well taken care of.
House was very clean, and the whole property had a safe, family friendly atmosphere, and their dog is so so sweet.
We fell asleep to the sounds of nature, completely surrounded by jungle noises.
Would absolutely recommend. Good value for the price.
Location is a bit of a walk from town, but our hosts gave us bikes to use free of charge!

Ok, let me start with the fact I almost never share comments on booking.com. But for Los Delfinos Lodge I want to make an exception. Miguel is absolutely AMAZING. Oh and did I say that the property is as amazing as Miguel? The hospitality, the car drive in the night to the city Center, the stories about the environment, the bikes, the beds. Lovely to wake up with the sound of howler monkeys and then make our breakfast in our own kitchen.
This is the message you wanted to read in the reviews: go to los delfinos lodge, you won’t regret it! ? ❤️?

cabin was well equipped
The host Miguel was constantly arriving where we were renting and asking us not to use the water, that we turn down the music and the first night of stay from 6:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. the next day there was no electricity or water and he gave us As a solution, it had a hose, and it was more than 2 kilometers from the nearest beach with a road in poor condition, that is, it was not accessible. When I asked him not to come to where we rented, he told me that he was the owner and if he wanted he would hang out there.

Spacious and comfortable rooms and beds.
Well equipped kitchen and lovely common area and garden.
If you have a car it’s a 7 minute drive to the city center, and really close to supermarket and amazing beaches.
The host is very welcoming and available for any question or request.
the wall between the rooms is thin so there is no privacy.
there is no glass in the windows, just net, so you can hear all the jungle noises all the time.
In all our nights there, there was an extremely loud noise from the animals (probably monkeys) in the middle of the night, which made it impossible to sleep, considering there is no window to close in order to shut out the noise.
also the curtains are thin so the room is bright early in the morning.
