Beautiful bungalows. Ours was really clean and spacious. There is a kitchenette which has most things to prepare basic meals (except you need to have all your own cooking ingredients). The grounds and pool were really well maintained. We liked that it was out of town - we saw an agouti and toucans in the garden- but you could walk to the beach & restaurants & supermarket in about 20 minutes. Iris the lovely administrator was always quick to reply to any messages.
The only slight downside for us was that there were bats (we think) in the roof & this made it very noisy in the bungalow at night!

Excellent value, clean, well appointed kitchen, comfie bed, new towels for bathroom and beach each day, good parking. There is a nice grocery store at main road. Highly recommend.

Very secluded, rustic look and suited our needs.
Shower tap is very tight to turn and hard to adjust temperature.
Bed frame squeaks when moving on it, footboard sticks out too much, kept stubbing toes on it coming out from bathroom.
Bed felt too firm, woke up with sore back.
Pool could be warmer.

All except for host.
This Argetinan host girl who was single-minded. We were scolded for getting 10 min before check in. Before check out, cleaning lady came in to pick up towels. Host told us things we were not supposed to do at the time of check out but we were not warned before.

Really beautiful bungalow and surroundings, nice pool, everything kept meticulously clean, great location (quiet but in 10 - 15 min by foot there are supermarktes and restaurants on the main road where you can flag down a tuktuk which are passing by all day), agoutis in the garden ... and Marianna was a great host!

Beautiful place, super quiet and relaxing. Really close to Puerto Viajo Down Town. We were received wonderfully by the staff. Super recomended
maybe 300 meters of the road that gets you to the place its kind of uneven. Anyway, any car con go through without trouble

Loved every part of our 1 week stay. Beautiful and spacious accomodations with kitchen facilities, large sleeping area and bathroom. Our breakfast was delicious, the pool was fabulous and location perfect! Laura, our host, was accomodating while allowing for our privacy. The hot tub was lovely! Thank you for everything... perfect location for all the beauty of the area.

The accommodations are stunning. Sometimes when people focus their reviews on the word “clean” that can be code that cleanliness is the only positive. Well this place was clean - clean, absolutely beautiful, the pics do not so or justice and the area surrounding the bungalows are safe and equally beautiful.
Breakfast is not included.
At night the place is deafeningly quiet. So if you have a conversation on the phone or if anyone has a conversation in another bungalow you can hear it. I mean you can hear people turning over in their beds in neighboring bungalows, it’s that quiet. I strongly suggest bringing a sound machine if you want any degree of privacy at night.

Loved my time here. Very peaceful. Toucans, monkeys, butterflies, dragonflies and owls all to be seen or heard on a daily basis (amongst others) Impeccable house keeping, great shower and a very clean swimming pool The jacuzzi at night was a special treat!.. Felt very safe as a single female traveller. Would be romantic for couples and fun for families. Close to beautiful beaches and Puerto Viejo for lovely shops and good nightlife. Owners were very helpful and kind..

the property is beautiful, very well kept and very elegant designed.
The houses have some kind of nets instead of windows, which is very nice somehow but it the same time it is very noisy at night. we could here people talking from other properties, partying, etc. Couldn’t rest properly.

The bungalow we had was stunning and because there was largely no-one else there when we stayed we had the pool to ourselves. The garden did have animals in and the highlight was seeing a sloth and a toucan. Also the bungalows are under a 1km from three supermarkets!
Location - they say they are 1.5km from Puerto Viejo. No so. In fact they are at the top of a gravel, windy road that is 800m long. When you reach the bottom you are on the main road which clearly says Puerto Viejo is 3km away!! So nearly 4km away in total which wasn't what we wanted at all. The 800m walk also made it impossible to go out at night because there was zero lighting and lots of dogs around. You would have had to get taxi's back and forward and that would have cost a small fortune! Very disappointing. They need to be more honest about location for people that don't have cars. If you do have a car then its probably fine.
General feel of the place was gloomy. The photos are obviously highlighted and this gives the impression of a much brighter place. In fact everything was quite dark and just generally not a great atmosphere.
Probably perfect for older couples with cars but not great for a family, with a ten year old who are reliant on taxi's. We ended up hiring bikes in the end just to get to places.

The bungalow were bright and beautifully built, the facilities were clean and the swimming pool nice for a late before dinner. Laura and Maurizio were really helpful and gave us lot of tips. I loved looking at the stars from the garden, this place is just magic!
