The location directly on the ocean was impressable.
The room had some unexpected roomates, likely a cockroach and sometimes it is not really a silence place.

Wonderful
This is the perfect location, right in the middle of Cocles Beach. You can see the waves from the 2nd floor and watch the expert surfers if the waves are rocking. It was right in front of the lifeguard stand and volleyball courts, there are several nice restaurants on either side.
On the weekend there was a lot of traffic on the road, of course because you are right on the beach there is noise during the day. Actually on Friday and Saturday there was not a lot of noise after dark and hardly any after 9pm.

Excellent location in front of the main beach. The most happening spot in all of Puerto Viejo/ Cocles . Beach volleyball, surf , food and activities directly out front . Friendly staff at the beach bar

Right in front of the beach.
Faucet and shower water was brown. Outside my room there was always a sewer smell, pool was greeninsh, bathroom was clean but with a disgusting look

Very quirky hotel amazing friendly staff and a great location. The room with sea view is a bit of a stretch because you are kind of looking onto the roof of the kitchen area.
I got a water leak after strong rain over a 48 hour period and when I was moved to the alternative room unfortunately it had black mold in the shower, which was not great.

Breakfast and location were good. 10/10
We booked an apartment for 6 but it only had 3 twin beds and one full.
Kitchenette didn’t work very well.
The water from the kitchen pipe came out brown.
Someone opened our room at night without knocking on the door (while we were sleeping) to check if we where there because they didn’t have a record of our check in. You could notice the lack of communication from the staff.
They didn’t have a working shower at the pool area.
