The room quality. Need some maintenance and cleaning

The location was a bit outside of town and up a hill. Yet, once there, it was nice to be there.

Small parking lot

It’s outside of the main stop so it’s quiet at night but only a 8 minute bike ride to town and easier to get to Punta Uva which was nice

The room was dirt. There was no hot water for the shower. There was cockroaches.

Needs a good thorough cleaning and some general maintenance.

Room downstairs a little rustic, pool lounger old and mildew, far from town.

All good but the room R it’s too close to the lobby that you can hear everyone speaking when trying to sleep at the early morning!

Room facilities quite old and the breakfast had only few options, no compatible with the price paid.

Overall the property needs a good upgrade

The pool was not very clean the first day. The next it was

the location was poor . pool was cold no food without a cab ride . and also rooms were poor beds were made every day but no fresh sheets ever

Staff were 100% rude at check in which created a tense feeling thereafter. Later when I overpaid them a tour by error, a staff member became defensive accusing me of having accused her of robbing me, and that I called her a liar when I had merely told her we both made an error (me overpaying and her not noticing) However, she did write a receipt for a lesser amount which was questionable. She insisted I had given specifically only the amount due. Luckily there were cameras which proved I was right. Instead of $270 I gave 270 mil colones. Both of us should have caught the error but her defensive attitude was to say I accused her of being a liar and robbing me. Never have I received such treatment at any hotel I have ever stayed at. The owner came at camera review, I was refunded my money but the owner still defended her actions in regards to accusing her of robbing me and calling her a liar which NEVER occurred. They refused to play the audio which would have proven I only treated her politely and emphasized we had mutually erred and even said I understood they were busy for Semana Santa. One never knows if that woman was simply having a bad day or if that is something they should address and improve. Nonetheless, I was so frustrated I left at 10pm and just didn’t feel comfortable there my last night and went elsewhere.
