The staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was a fine size. Communal areas were great for making meals and storing food. Also a short walk from the centre of town. Good value for money.

The bed wasn’t overly comfortable but Atleast had a net for all the mosquitos. Location is a bit further out than expected but only 10 minute walk from the town

Luis was a great host! He helped us a lot with information about transportation and activities in the area. The location of the hostel was quiet but still near the center and it had a lovely garden. Our room was really big and clean and had a brand new floor.

Shout out to the staff. Luis and Keisha were wonderful. Luis' recommendations were especially helpful. I felt he tried his best for the guests. A+++ for his efforts; keep it up, Luis!

Me and my dad stayed here for a couple of nights. Had the best welcome and Luis provided us with lots of information. There’s a sloth living around. So every day we got to see it, since it only moved up and down on the tree :) we felt really comfortable at the place. It’s an easy walk to town in a very quiet/nature environment

Luis is the nicest host we have ever had during a stay! He helped us a lot with busses to Cahuita & La Fortuna and was always there when we needed him. The kitchen is really well equipped and has everything you need. The common area is really nice as well. The accommodation is right in the nature, we saw lots of animals right next to us. It’s around a 10 minute walk into the city centre.

Keisha, the housekeeper, hostess, tour guide, and everything you need her to be, helped me with feeling very comfortable with my space. They provided insect repellent for the mosquitoes ? at night, and it worked so much so that I was able to enjoy my window being opened to appreciate the lovely garden view and sounds of nature. I am grateful I had the privilege to try Luis's best vegan burger patty I have ever eaten! And, Keisha's tuna pasta was very delicious, too ?. I loved my room! It is spacious, comfortable bed, hot showers when the setting is on less pressure. I loved feeling comfortable out in nature, and I will choose to come back here again. The location is perfect for the quietness out in nature, and close enough to walk to the town's center and the beach ⛱️. I, definitely, got my bang for my bucks. I saw a mom & baby Sloth ? on my first day which was so very special to watch them play.

The owner was super helpful and helped us get to Panama, he has a pdf file he created to tell you all you need to know when traveling to puerto viejo!

super great internet, patio, outdoor kitchen, lovely host who told us a lot about the area and gave us great tips where to buy food etc., spacious room, I higly recommend it.

The owners of the hostel were superfriendly. Location was great, in a more quiet part of Puerto Viejo! The room and kitchen was really good for the price!

The ambiance of the lounge area. The kitchen allowed me to spend less eating out. it’s tucked away off the main road. It’s quite and secluded; but still a short distance from main town and beach. The property also has bikes to rent. The staff was very available. It’s peaceful

Hosts were nice. Flexible with letting me stay for 2 nights, although I had booked 3 (therefore had to pay a bit more per night, what wasnt told me before) Amazing garden, nice terrace.

It is centrally located in the village, you can walk to restaurants, bars and the supermarket. The room is relatively big.
