This place is for nature lovers. Only 4 huts in almost a jungle/park. You can watch colibres from your hammack. Slotsh in nearby, I also saw aguris. Very close to Puerto Viejo and walking distance from Playa Negra. There is mosquito net installed, that is pretty new.

Lovely property, very nice bungalows, and the owners were very helpful with providing recommendations and trips for the area. Very peaceful laying on the hammock on the front porch
I had a car so not a problem, but it’s not as convenient for someone without a vehicle…though they can take taxis / tuk tuks

The casitas are wonderful! They aren't too big but neither too small, for us two it was just enough space. The location is great! Away from the road (noise) yet not too far. And they are in a beautiful tropical garden!! (Even monkeys and sloths visited the trees over and around the casitas:) The beach (playa negra) is very close and beautiful. The "city" of puerto viejo is about a 10 -20 minutes walk and you can even do the walk along the playa negra. The hosts Gane and Vittorio are very very friendly and help with everything!
It would be nice if every Casita had the possibility to cook somewhere. Other than that, everything was wonderful!

Beautiful cabins, amazing nature all around, wild animals and birds doing their own thing around the garden all day and night (saw a sloth, agoutis, armadillos, toucans), good kitchen appliances and utensils, the owner is super helpful accommodating and very responsive to queries. So close to the beach and just outside Puerto viejo to avoid the hoards of tourists and chaos of cars

We loved being in the rainforest and listening to the jungle sounds. The host was very responsive and helpful. I liked having a porch and also a fan at night for sleeping. The shower was good and the bed comfortable. Close to town and restaurants.
It was very small but a good value for our budget.

the location is just great, away from the noise and the sea is within walking distance. The house is clean and cozy, everything is decorated with taste. The hosts are polite and attentive, helped with all our needs. we were pleasantly surprised by this place and got a lot of vivid impressions.

We loved the location - just a walk away from Playa Negra. You can hire bikes to get into town. The cabanas are beautiful and well designed. We saw lots of sloths! The hosts are very welcoming and we had a lovely stay.

The bungalows are surrounded by nature, so it's very peaceful there and one can truly relax. Not many human-made sounds but very buzzy when it comes to all wildlife. From our porch, we saw a sloth, an armadillo, monkeys, agoutis, hummingbirds... We loved that!
For the price you pay, the bungalows are a bit worn out and would deserve some renovation, especially the bathroom and the kitchen.

Casitas Las Flores is one of my top places to stay in the world. Gana and Oscar are the nicest hosts I had. The garden is beautiful, full of flowers and wildlife. Our casita and its kitchen had literally all we needed for our 12 days long stay there.

Lovely location, quite away from the busy town centre, but close enough to walk or cycle. Such a cute bungalow as well, clean and neat, you just can’t help bugs in that environment but I was prepared.

Before we arrived the hosts were very helpful and communicative. The accommodation was clean, quiet and well-kept. The kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. It felt private and secure, with an abundance of wildlife. There was an opportunity to rent bikes and have a breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed the surroundings and would highly recommend this. Thank you so much.

The place is surrounded by beautiful nature and strategically located.
Unfortunately the bungalows roofs are not sealed and because of this you hear everything. I myself I have always dreamed to hear the jungle’s sound at night but in this case I could hear many other things like my neighbors, some humans walking close to our bedroom at night, etc.. a window would have been sufficient. The other problem was that, because the roof was not sealed, all kind of insects entered the property. I never knew if some of them were dangerous so it made it a bit uncomfortable to sleep there really. One example was some worm crawling in the inner side of the bed’s mosquito net, just over our heads. Also we saw a cockroach inside, which I had to kill (there were more though, I saw their feces). I would recommend to rebuild the bungalows for becoming an amazing hotel

Private secure location with the sounds of nature. Love having a full-size refrigerator and stove to do my own cooking if desire. The host was very friendly and helpful.
It was the rainy season, which I thought had ended.
