Wonderful
I visited San Andres to celebrate my birthday with my family and the hotel staff was incredibly friendly and warm, they definitely made my day very special. Also the room was even better than the pictures! I had a lovely stay.
Although it's not the hotel's fault, unfortunately the beach in front of the hotel was not nice at all compared to the rest of the beaches in San Andres. It was covered in a lot of seaweed so it didn't have the bright blue colour you normally see in the other beaches of the island. A member of the staff told us this happens in certain seasons, so make sure there's no seaweed when you plan your visit.

Disappointing
There was no hot water for the shower every morning..we would have to call the front desk to make sure they have the engineers turn it on..I asked for an iron and ironing board which never came

Poor
the placement on the beach.
la ubicacion en la playa
Pagar 200 dólares por noche resulta excesivo considerando la precariedad de las habitaciones. Una verdadera vergüenza. Paying 200 dollars per night is excessive given the poor condition of the rooms — truly shameful.

Very Poor
Apparently I somehow how made a mistake in booking the 11 year old child . The night registration was very uncooperative . He requested something like $300000 pesos more per night for a simple little boy . So we rebooked a better hotel for a much better price more near the activities in the city center . I don’t really want to hurt anyone , but because of this stupid greed for more money they lost $2000 more in a cancelled booking for the remaining nights . This is a little bit mean , but I guess paying customers are easy to find and they are booked full so they have the power to turn away the booking . HA it looked pretty slow there to me so I believe it was costly . My family was pretty exhausted from the days traveling . Not really very happy with the hour of additional stress waiting to check in than was to late at night to find food for my hungry tired family .

Wonderful
The hotel was bit pricey, yet there is no better location with beach beds included. The restaurant is on the site and decently good. The breakfast was excellent. The beach is nice and not crowded.
The warm water is from solar, so sometimes there is none in the evening.

Good
The staff is lovely, it is nice to have a beach just from couple of steps from your room.
I preferred it here because of the beach, and I paid more than at other hotels on the island. However, there was a lot of seaweed to make it impossible to get into the sea. I know it is not the hotel's fault, but if you clean your beach every morning, there will be no issue for the guests. (for example, last year, a hotel where I stayed in Boracay did that)
Also breakfast menu is so limited, you should have a little buffet so guests can eat different things instead of the same things every day.

Wonderful
Beautiful hotel grounds and very friendly, helpful staff. The rooms were clean and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. The food was delicious and great, fast service in the restaurant. The staff were very friendly and polite. Beautiful quiet beach which always had lounges available. It's a smaller hotel so it was nice and quiet with not too many people which we liked. The pool is small but perfect for kids.
There was a lot of sargassum on the beach for the first few days we were there. They don't do much to clean it but most days would rake a path through it so you don't have to walk through it to reach the water. I know it's not their fault, but it negatively impacted our experience. Also, we rented a buggy from the the guy that rents them at that hotel (Saul Enrique Martinez Batist) and they took our buggy back 3 hours early (our contract stated we had the rental from 9 am to 6pm). We came back to the hotel for a bit to eat and when we came back out to continue exploring the buggy was gone. We thought it was stolen but after some looking and contacting them, they told us someone else mistakenly took our buggy using another key. They would not refund us for the 3 hours we did not use the buggy. They did offer another buggy later in the afternoon but by that time we were fed up and did not want it as it was too late for us to go to beaches as we have a 5 year old with us. They also told us they would only accept cash (we didn't have any so my husband had to get the bus into town to access an ATM) but did see them accepting credit card from others. Be cautious renting from them.
