Very Good
The location of the property is excellent
The property was a little run down and could use some refreshing. The food in the buffet was always the same with no variation.

Disappointing
Entertainment was very good. Staff was great for the most part. Close to the beach.
Food choices were used the next day. Food wasn't hot. Huge pool but not enough umbrellas for those who don't want to fry during the day. Our room had maintenance issues but never got fixed while we were there.

I like that the hotel was right on the strip of the beach
Wasn't a fan of the buffet, some areas had a scent of sewage water.

Wonderful
Clean, also the entertainment
The food needs improvement and WiFi doesn’t work right but the hotel knows that because the reviews people been talking about it for a long time.

Disappointing
Good location, close to airport. The drinks were ok.
Everything else. Front desk manager was easily the rudest I’ve ever seen. This is a person who clearly despises her job. Made my guests wait for many hours before letting them check in. The food was poor to middling. Toilet backed up multiple times over 3 nights. Bathroom fixtures installed backwards. Very poor job all round. Very poor value, for what I spent I expected much better.

Very Good
The best part of the Decameron Isleno is the perfect location in front of the beach and also that is very close to the airport.
This was my second stay in this hotel and the beach was cleaned up very nicely. The buffet was very good and as always has a lot of variety for any of the meals. The drinks were superb and I want to thank Robert (bartender) for always taking care of us during the stay. He is a very friendly person.
We had to change rooms because they gave us a room over the pool and all the noisy part of the hotel. We asked for a change of room and we got it next day to a quieter place. It was much appreciated.

Disappointing
The property's proximity to the airport and ocean made it very convenient. There is also easy access to nearby restaurants and shops. The hotel is very well located.
The hotel is quite outdated, with limited food options and poor service. The rooms were dirty, and the beds were very uncomfortable. Unfortunately, the internet connectivity was non-existent. It seems like the staff does their best given the circumstances, but they may be understaffed or lack resources to provide better service. They were not very friendly either.

Poor
Location was great.
The hotel needs maintenance. I travel with a big group, we had around 6 rooms total. In one the air conditioning broke, one of the rooms smelled really bad, in my grandmother’s room the soap was missing and she requested soap about 6 times and never came. She ended up buying soap at the drugstore nearby. The towels given were very old and you could renew the towels once a day only and had to keep it for the entire stay. If you loose the towel they charge you so you are worried the whole time to keep an eye on your towel. There is no air conditioning in the entire hotel besides your room, so be ready to have very hot meals. For the price I was expecting a better quality hotel. This is not a 4 stars hotel.

Pleasant
The staff was helpful and polite. Beach access.
they put me in a room next ti the reception no phone and towels missing. Menu was very limited. Room was ok but very noisy until 12 pm. I think they save their worst rooms for the booking sites

Good
The location is perfect! We could walk from the Hotel to any part of the island even the airport is so close, you could walk to the Hotel yes or yes. The pool and the activities were okay, you can spend your time in the pool, and it's a good time. Also, the central beach is in front of the hotel so it's a really good experience. The night events were also good, but sometimes you felt quite repetitive.
The food wasn't good, so I expected to pay a higher price for quality food, and the menu and options were something that they needed to improve a lot. The systems for booking a restaurant for dinners were a disaster. The system is so disorganised, and people are not able to book anything because of the system. I have some advice for this system, instead of selecting dinner for the Decameron restaurant, you can pick a breakfast then you can select the restaurant of your preference and go in a dinner time.

The resort and staff were quite good. I did feel that as with most all inclusive domestic mixed drinks are watered down, at the very least not consistent quality or taste.Food was excellent. Only ever had the buffet st the Rasta, fresh fruit, breads, cheeses a great selection for every palate. Pool areas very clean, water immaculate and refreshing. Wife used the spa, a great deal for an hour massage, she loved it. Staff at the spa were awesome.
I speak passable Spanish, and my wife is a fluent national. I had booked online, using Booking.com - I wanted it to be a surprise. I thought the price seemed reasonable but admittedly it was pretty steep for three full nights, in excess of $2800 Cdn. (Est. 8.9Mill pesos) We had already stayed at like hotels in Colombia during the same visit for for less, so we asked if the price was accurate. When the agent went into the office we heard him say, " Another victim of Booking.com ."
This is no joke.
The actual price for the same stay was only $5.1 Mill pesos
Because of this hotel and two others that we had booked through Booking.com we will never be using the service again. Piracy and lies - through photos.
Do yourself a favor book it direct.

Very Good
location is excellent. close to the beach and town center. staff very friendly. food was nice. and the shows and animation team were a good laugh.
lack of towels for the pool/beach - often there wouldn’t be any. app for reserving restaurants was 90% down during our stay. understaffed compared to number of people staying at the hotel.

Very Good
•Best perfect location… don’t even look for more.
•Outside vendors: polite and 24/7 to serve you with good trip packages.
•FOOD: i cant complain. Prior to booking this hotel, read really bad reviews that i consider unrealistic.Food was fresh and had really good seafood and fish with everyday all inclusive lunch and dinner.
•drinks: pretty solid brands and alcohol.
•service: For sustainability purpose ,i LOVE the fact the hotel hold you accountable for the beach towels you use by keeping the towels all day with you and only allow to change it once a day.
With the situation the island is running right now and how expensive are restaurants, i fully suggest you to catch this all inclusive.
WIFI: wifi don’t work very well in the rooms( as per other tourists feedbacks as well). but works well by the pools, and amenities.
