Beautiful property just outside downtown San Agustin. Comfortable room and hot water in shower. Good wi-fi for the mountain location. Price of food/drink surprisingly affordable at the property. Most staff members were nice.
It was pretty cold in the room at times, as well as in the main common area as the doors were always open. A little bit of a pain to get downtown (30+ minutes walking or a taxi for 10 COP each way).

Wonderful
Stunning views over the valley, this property had a perfect balance of style and all the services you expect from a well run Masaya property. San Augustin and the ruins are a MUST SEE!

This was an incredible place to stay, absolutely beautiful grounds with plants / butterflies / birds, and the rooms were immaculately clean and comfortable. The massages were also excellent, and the chef at the restaurant was top notch, very good food.

Amazing scenery, great food, big rooms (some with better views than others). They can arrange activities, and do laundry.
A bit further away from the centre, and it's quite steep to get out of the property. However they can arrange taxis

Beautiful property with amazing views and very comfortable rooms. Great lounge with ping pong, pool and other games, a trampoline and a river crossing the grounds. Excellent for families.
We ate there 3 times and even though the food was delicious and the service was attentive, they got some items of our food orders wrong each time.

Everything! The location and view of the Magdalena is incredible, you won't get that anywhere else. The space is really nicely laid out, it's very quiet at night and everything is beautiful. Food at the restaurant was delicious and there was a good deal of variety. Very wonderful and attentive service all around.
A very small thing -- during meals the dogs and cats that live in the property would come up to our table looking for us to give them food. Usually they went away when we sternly shooed them away, but it got a little bothersome.

The breakfast was always excellent, very good food and while dinners weren't covered in the price of the room, they were also VERY worthwhile. The location is stunning and all the staff are present and helpful.
The bathroom facilities were slightly lower quality than I expected. The shower was great, large and warm water, but the toilet sink was small and cheaply made.

The view is unbeatable! The room was very comfortable and the staff is helpful and friendly.
The music was quite repetitive and could definitely be improved! Breakfast was delicious but the service was a little slow, however, we went during Semana Santa so they were extra busy! The internet service was very hit or miss. It would be nice to have a common area that was only for guests, not shared with people who come with a day pass.

Beautiful place in great location with very friendly staff and good food (breakfast juice was always too watery though). However, there was no drinking water in the cabanas, and the hotel would not offer bottle or jug. Also in some rooms laundry basket (to send cloths to be washed) was missing and not all hair dryers worked. Also wifi was very spotty, sometimes good, other times not functioning. Supposedly a land slide messed with the transmission wire.

Stunning location, well designed main building and rooms, friendly staff, tasty breakfast. Excellent choice for exploring the historic sites of San Agustin.
Liaison with a tour operator booked through the hotel could have run more smoothly

Quiet. Beautiful. Peaceful. Incredible views. Lush nature. Friendly and polite staff. Well appointed rooms. Comfortable beds. Great shower. Delicious food.
The lighting in the common areas (the main hut/lobby/restaurant) was flashing - new bulbs would be helpful.
The lighting outside along the resort paths could
be a little bit more warm-colored, and pointed down instead of up.
Other than that, in my opinion, the place is perfect.

Very Good
WE had requested a particular room, because we had stayed ther 2 years previous, and were very satisfied with the room. THey accommodated our request, and we had another pleasant stay.
I don't like the fact that all booking and reservations must be done online. I would prefer to talk to reception by phone or in person in order to rent a room.
