We were very lucky to find this wonderful place. The staff was super friendly and helpful (this included helping research day boat trips to the Rosario Islands), the place was charming and spotless, and the breakfasts were homemade and delicious. Best of all: 1. Our room was cool and extremely quiet - wonderful after each day in the warm and busy city of Cartagena 2. Location - the historic center of town is beautiful and interesting, but can be bustling. Casa Quero is *perfectly* located: 1 1/2 quiet blocks from everything. 3. In addition to being friendly and helpful, the staff really went above and beyond: at the airport when we were leaving, we realized that we had taken our room key by mistake. They actually came and got the key, help we never would have expected! Thank you for a great stay!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Casa Quero; everything was really lovely. The Old City location was great, the breakfasts were delicious (tasty arepas!), the staff was extremely kind and responsive, the room itself was beautiful and comfortable, and the rooftop pool was a refreshing respite in the afternoons. We also really appreciated that, upon request, they brought a rocking chair into our room so that we could have two comfortable chairs to sit in together in the evenings.
We had a bit of difficulty with the hot water in our shower; it was warm but never quite got hot. Of course Cartagena is so hot and humid that you don't really need the shower to be steaming hot, but it's just something to note.

The hotel has probably 10 very spacious rooms, a large bathroom Located in Old city, but the block is non-commercial. 4 min walk to blocks w restaurants, shops, bars; 15 min slow walk to Clock tower. So it's quiet. Very good internal yard with hammocks and a small rooftop pool are good after a day on the beach or touring the city on a hot day. Friendly staff, decent breakfast made to your order (don't expect a breakfast feast as in large resort-hotels)
It had only 2 people speaking English, so had to use Google Translate. Also we arrived late, the young man on duty could not help with advising on getting food. Apparently there is a cafe 24x7 at the end of block.

Beautiful hotel in a central location. It is very quiet, which is unusual for central Cartagena. There are lots of comfy seating areas and the decor is very tasteful.The pool on the roof was a bonus., as were the bath robes. Breakfast was good and the lady who served it very kind. Our room was spacious, as was the bathroom and the bed was comfortable

Nice colonial building, every area in the hotel looks lovely, rooftop terrace and splash pool very nice. Staff were always friendly and helpful!
Hot water in shower was a bit of a palaver, but manageable. Some tea making facilities in rooms, or even in common areas would be nice.

Location and roof top pool area Breakfast good and people nice
Airbnb next door w rooftop jacuzzi = loud party music at 3 am. We are city people and don’t mind a bit of revelry - but this was ridiculous. Not good after 15 hr journey
