This was a dream of an experience! The hotel. The decor. The staff. Everything about our stay at Aguamarina was exceptional. The hotel was about 15 minutes from the airport - and we were able to walk everywhere inside the walled city bc of its wonderful location. My husband and I got breakfast included with our stay - and I have to recommend you do the same! The pool was comfortable on the rooftop. Shaded perfectly in the afternoons to relax after long walking tours - the staff is so attentive and took wonderful care of us! We know very basic Spanish so there was a hard language barrier- but me and my husband came prepared with translation apps, and the staff totally understood. We're already planning to go back - WE MISS YOU JOSE!!!! ?

Miraflores exceeded my spouse’s and my expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming and provided excellent customer service. We loved our spacious room with the jacuzzi, as well as everything the hotel had to offer, including the bar and pool

Be aware that if you want a company Invoice you need to present your Physical company TAX ID they will not accept your number only . Terrible experience with the Accounting Department . Will not return for sure .

This is a very well located hotel in the walled city centre. It is a small property so is peaceful. The room was excellent and comfortable and the breakfast was very good.
It was disappointing to be charged for 5 nights when we only stayed 2 nights. This was a surprising error and we hope it was not deliberate. The way in which this error was handled took the shine off our otherwise very good stay.

Wow did I luck into an amazing hotel in Cartagena! The rooms were absolutely gorgeous and perfectly appointed. In fact, I skipped two tours to stay in the room and around the hotel. Helpful staff, especially the doormen and housekeepers, and perfect walking location. S

The staff are amazing- kind, helpful, friendly.
Great location, close to everything, but not
noisy at night. Very nice roof terrace and pool. Good fresh Colombian breakfast.
If you want something additional/different at breakfast, they don’t tell you it’s an extra cost until you see your bill at the end. If we’d known 2 fried eggs cost $5 we might not have bothered each morning. The menus have no prices, so ask the price or you might get a shock!

We loved this beautiful boutique hotel inside the walled city of Cartagena.
It has lovely Southeastern Asian decor and beautiful architecture.
The pool was small but perfect for cooling off on the rooftop.
The room was spacious and super comfortable. The shower was awesome!
The breakfast on the balcony was superb! Fresh and delicious.
Excellent location, close to very good restaurants. Felt very safe.
Jose, Marisol and Oscar were wonderful. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. Although we did not speak Spanish we were able to communicate very well with the help of translating apps. Jose was super helpful and insisted on bringing our luggages upstairs.
I strongly recommend this beautiful boutique hotel, to which I would love to return one day.
Nothing! Everything was perfect!
However, one thing guests should know, is that there are no elevators. Although it was not a problem for us, it would be for someone with mobility issues.

Great location within the walled city and close to lots of bars, restaurants and shops. Large bed and great AC in the room!
It would be helpful to have a breakfast menu and some more variety as it could become repetitive after a few days. The pool area is nice but the pool wasn’t very clean.

I had a splendid stay in Hotel Aguamarina Boutique. The room was so luxurious and matched perfectly the pictures on the listing. The common areas were very nice and it was a great location for a retreat and to simply chill while staying in the heart of the walled city of Cartagena.

The location was excellent. The hotel felt very safe. We LOVED the bathroom. The breakfast on the balcony was very special and delicious! The rooftop was very cool. Thr bed was comfortable and the AC worked great. We got to watch the US Open on the TV, so that was nice for some afternoon relaxation.
The wifi didn't work in our room.

* Location - in the heart of the Old Town. Take the room with the courtyard vie to be sure it is not noisy
* Spacious room and bathroom
* Very clean
* Good wifi, Netflix and satellite chanels
* Only one person (wonderful manager) speaks English so don't expect any advice if you arrive on weekend
* No breakfast menu so you have to explain everything and communication is tricky (English!)
