Staff was great and helpful. Super clean.
Unfortunately, the private room was not up to par. I was able to hear everything in the hostel, including the rooms next to mine. Made it difficult to sleep. Also, did not have hot water.

Carol, one of the front desk staff was a great help, she was friendly and fun. The manager was also nice & understanding. The breakfast was decent
I didn't appreciate the 5% increase in charge when paying with credit card that wasn't mentioned prior. Cleanliness was a little of an issue

One of the most stunningly beautiful hostels I have ever stayed in. I stayed in the 12-bed dorm; it's large, plenty of space and ceiling fans are so comfortable to have a nice breeze to sleep. At night, the coquí frogs chirping in the plants are magical, something I loved and once they turn the music off after 11pm, it's extremely peaceful and relaxing to sit in the courtyard and feel like you're in the jungle. Security is good, the neighborhood is walkable in the daytime to shops, restaurants, banks and it's easy to get here in a Jeep from the bus terminal for 3,000 pesos. HOT water in the shower, nice to have. Clean bathrooms, kind and helpful staff, and they offer a granola, fruit and yogurt breakfast for just 10,000 pesos, good value here. Also note if you book direct with them the 4th night is free..
It would be nice to have some places to hang wet clothes, towels, swimsuits in the rooms. The 8-bed dorm is much too small; I didn't stay in that one but it seems it will always be messy and too hot if full. The door to the 12-bed dorm sticks and it's really hard to open/close it quietly at night, would be great to have that addressed. And sometimes the music could be too loud but usually it was pleasant and reasonable volume. Tap water is safe to drink but the only sink is at the bar.

They let me my bags keep there after check-out
They gave me a used bad - i saw hairs and sheets is not fresh at all
No kitchen, no hair dryer
The bathroom is not enough
Internet is unstable
There was a cockroach in the bathroom climbed on my leg
Not about them, but because of my roommates the room was messy, you cannot walk without stepping on something and this could be a person sitting on the floor ?

The staff was great and kind and the room is very comfortable at all.
In the first night we were there, there were bed bugs in the bed.. in the morning we woke up and we asked the reception to change the sheets immediately and after that it was OK
