Very good location, there are free dancing courses, very clean, the breakfast is included
It could be a bit noisy as the dorm door doesn’t keep the noise too much.
A bit racist, but there were simply too many french speaking people…

This place is great. I had dance lessons with Carlos and he was amazing! There are a lot of cooking items in the kitchen. There are quite a few hangout spots inside and outside and the hostel is quite social which is amazing for a solo traveller.

Amazing stay!! I would absolutely suggest this hostel. For anybody on a budget: even though it’s a bit pricier than other hostels, this one offers a wonderful included breakfast and everyday salsa/bachata/dance classes! So I think it’s very good value for money. The staff is suuper friendly too. And the salsa instructors are the best<3 shoutout to Valentina!!

It’s a very friendly hostel, they run fun activities, the free dance classes are great, and the location is good.
The hostel could do with some TLC. The first and second bunk I was assigned had black dust all over the sheets and dirty sheets (I think it was dust dirt coming down from the ceiling). They did move me to another bunk (twice) and were the staff were really kind, and the third bunk I was in was spotless - but I think this is something they need to look into. It would also be great to have some pegs in the bathrooms, as there is no where to hang your things. The plates in the kitchen are all a bit worn and dirty, and could do with a refresh.

The property itself is very nearby a square that’s very lively in the evening! We took the salsa class in the hostel which was nicely organized and went to test our “skills” in the salsa bar recommended by the staff. I also recommend doing the street food tour that the hostel offers. All in all, great staff, great place! Would’ve loved to stay longer if it was in our schedule.

This hostel is among the nicest I have ever been to. It is clean, it has a good breakfast, it is cozy and feels like a home, great common spaces, adorable staff and amazing salsa teachers!

The volunteers and staff were fantastic, very helpful and so friendly it felt like family. The most welcoming atmosphere I have ever felt in a hostel it was super easy to make friends. Good range of activities especially the free salsa classes which are very fun. Well equipped kitchen, nice social areas and plenty of space for luggage in the rooms. The hostel is very well cleaned and in great condition. Nice location, safe and peaceful with convenient amenities nearby and about a 20 minute walk from San Antonio and 30 minutes walk to the city centre and you can also quickly and easily get Uber’s everywhere.
The 4 bed female dorm can get quite hot. This didn’t bother me and I slept very well but I know it did prevent some people from sleeping. The other dorms have more fans and windows so are cooler.

Free dancing classes were fun, the area is quiet but a touristy square with bars/restaurants just a block away.
Our double room smelled of mold and the only window was giving into the common area- it was busy during the day but damn impossible at night, when everyone comes back from partying at different hours, always very loud and inconsiderate, well we never slept well. Asked to switch for the free room next door facing inner courtyard (double with the same shared bathroom), was denied. The room stayed free the whole time. 5nights out of 6 there was only icy water to shower. For two consecutive days we found several bugs (!!) in every bag of breakfast cereal that each of you receives in the morning and even though we pointed it out to the staff immediately, they didn’t do anything about it and served us the same stock all again the following day. Actually there was no real staff available, only volunteers all the time, who were very nice when you were wondering where to go to party but clueless and useless when you presented them with a problem. The place could use a manager.

A friend recommended Oasis and I couldn't be happier to have stayed there! It is located in a very quiet neighborhood, the hostel is spacious, clean, tidy and nice, plus the staff is super friendly. It has a billboard with varied activities that you can do every day, it is very easy to make friends there and to learn salsa, as they offer lessons. They have a spacious kitchen, plenty of areas to chill at and a terrace with a bar. Without a doubt my favorite place on this trip, I hope to be back soon!!

Amazing hostel, the staff is just amazing. Really great if you want to dance salsa and find other people to go out dancing Salsa at night. They suggest also a lot of activities.
