My boyfriend and I loved our room, the bed was so comfortable, the shower and bathroom so clean, and the decoration everywhere was beautiful. It’s an amazing location to tour around La Candelaria and then uber to the other cool spots in the city. The staff was so wonderful and always available.

Perfect location for exploring the La Candelaria district of Bogota. Safe, historic and clean. Francisco was wonderful!
While I appreciate the security it was sometimes inconvenient to have to be let in and let out of the property. As well, the room, while comfortable and quaint, lacked in some conveniences.

Amazing historical place, great location in the heart of La Candelaria. Near many attractions, museums, shopping, monserrate, Mercado artesanal, museo del oro, museo de Botero, casa de Bolivar, museo de la independencia, teatro colon, catedral, historical places all walking distance. The staff is amazing friendly and helpful in all ways. The authentic Colombian breakfast is exceptional too, the rooms are way better than any other hotel. We loved the authentic decoration, side of the room, walking closets, huge bathroom and bathtub. The entire hotel boutique is a wonderful gem in the historical downtown of Bogota.

The breakfast was in this nicely decorated and furnished room with the tv set to the news. The staff gives you a menu to choose from and they make it to order. The bacon and eggs were great, as well as the coffee. The fruit was perfectly sliced.

The staff of the Orchids were great, welcoming and low key in a nice way. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and it had genuine charm. The location was bustling but the rooms were also very quiet.

We had a fabulous stay at the Orchids. The building is beautiful and thoughtfully decorated, spotlessly clean, and the location is excellent, centrally located for Candelaria. But the best thing about The Orchids was the staff. Christian, Marta and a third colleague whose name we didn’t get, were so very kind and did everything possible to make us feel at home. Christian gave great recommendations and helped us with lots of information. Marta provided a truly delicious breakfast and made us feel at home. We would return to The Orchids without hesitation for any future visit to Bogotá.
