This is a very social hostel. The way the common areas are setup makes it very easy to meet people. The breakfast is very good, and there is absolutely no reason to look for other places in Candelaria. All staff is very pleasant and helpful. The location is, well… Candelaria. A little shady in the evening, but this the historic district, and is the location of most interesting museums.

The hostel offered comfort, a safe location, lots of good eating options with the staff all amazing. Melissa, Robert and their colleagues were very attentive to all my questions. Their inhouse cafe was a real bonus! Highly recommend this hostel in vibrant Bogota. Ken ?

The room I was in was very quiet and the "pods" are very nice to give a little more privacy. There is a decent size locker (but they don't provide padlocks)
Serves food and drinks, and the food was great!
They can arrange pick up and drop off from/to the airport. They arrange some activities, although the planning doesn't seem to be up to date (?), maybe because it's not high season.
All the staff is really lovely, and speak english
The mattresses are very firm (to me)

The location was excellent and I liked the layout of the sleeping “pods”. It felt very private and comfortable.
Some guests were a bit noisy in the small dorm room since it does feel quite private.

Fun place to stay with a bar, table tennis, music and friendly staff. Lockable cupboard for your stuff in the room. Would be fab for solo travellers.

It’s a lively hostel with friendly staff. I highly recommend booking an airport pick up shuttle with the hostel if you arrive early morning or late at night. My flight arrived at 4am, driver picked me up and I was able to get a bed right away once we arrived at the hostel for an extra charge. It’s very convenient that the kitchen open for breakfast and dinner. Huge shoutout to Robert who was so kind and went the extra mile to ensure my stay was great.
The only thing I regret is not booking a private room. I stayed in the mixed pod, people were loud and kinda disrespectful - watch movies on speaker at midnight, slam doors when they go in and out, etc. But this has nothing to do with the hostel, unfortunately some people are just inconsiderate.
One more thing I will add, after my 5 night stay here I decided to book another place in Chapinero (northern part of Bogotá) and I felt much safer and relaxed there as a solo female traveller in my early 30s. The location of this hostel is great if you are only here to do the touristy stuff, see La Candelaria (“old town” of Bogotá) and visit Monterrate. But if you are slow traveling like myself and want to see the authentic Bogotá city life, I highly recommend staying a couple nights in one of the neighborhoods in northern part of Bogotá.
