The property is GORGEOUS and located in the heart of La zona T with absolutely everything around. The staff is amazing and the breakfast one of the best I’ve tried in Bogota.

The location is perfect.
We booked here with my wife and our 3-year-old son. We only managed to stay one single night.
On that first night we discovered bed bugs in the room. We immediately told the front desk. The staff told us “that’s not possible here,” refused to check the room, and showed zero interest in helping us — even with a small child in the room.
We decided right then to leave immediately and not risk another night. At checkout they charged us the full three nights we had originally booked, with no flexibility or partial refund whatsoever.
While we were dealing with this, I spoke with another guest who had also found bed bugs in their room — so this is clearly not an isolated case.
We ended up stressed, bitten, and out of pocket for nights we never used, then had to worry the rest of our family trip about bringing the bugs home with us.
Strongly recommend avoiding this hotel, especially if you’re traveling with young children. There are plenty of better, cleaner, and more honest options in Bogota.

I had a very good stay at Avani Zona T Hotel. The location is awesome, right in Zona T and close to many great restaurants, bars, and places to explore. The amenities are good, simple, and comfortable nothing fancy, but everything you need for a pleasant stay.
I’d especially like to thank Daniel at the front desk. He was extremely helpful, helped us get the best room, recommended great places to visit, and answered all our questions promptly and professionally. His service really made a difference and added a personal touch to our stay.
I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

Avani Royal Zona T Bogotá is in the heart of Zona T, right next to Andrés DC. The hotel has friendly staff, large, comfortable rooms, and offers good value. It’s just a 10–15 minute Uber ride to La Candelaria and major tourist attractions in a safe area.
One elevator was out of service during the stay. I heard that outside noise could be an issue for some rooms, but I didn’t experience it.

This hotel is in a safe area of Bogotá with plenty of nearby bars and restaurants. Rooms are very spacious, staff extremely friendly, and breakfast offers healthy, delicious options like fresh juices plus à la carte continental choices.
The only downsides are some nighttime noise from the area and echoes in corridors near elevators. Highly recommended overall.

Great location. Friendly staff.
Very noisy, not only the outside noise but inside you could hear everything from other rooms and corridors.
Rooms are very outdated. Bathroom is extremely small, toilet leaks and is very old. Not many toiletries. ( even the paper towel holder is empty and you have to order it).
No accesible outlets on the nightstands for connectivity, towels were poor quality, only one toilet paper roll ( typical hotel standards are not met), only one very tiny service elevator available. Iron/ ironing board and other minimal things you have to call and order and to do that online is not that straightforward as they make it seem.
The window treatment doesn’t allow a proper view to the outside which was disappointing.

This is the closest hotel to the Andino shopping mall and restaurant area. It is embedded in this upscale shopping center. Breakfast is buffet style and decent with a good soread of local fruits.
Black walls in the lobby make it feel spooky. Rooms are medium-sized but decent. Not too much space for business-focused laptop work.
