Location is Superb
During my recent trip to Bogotá, I stayed at the Four Seasons, expecting the usual blend of luxury and exceptional service. However, the experience was notably average. The hotel, including the premises and rooms, felt like any standard city hotel, which was a bit disappointing considering the premium associated with the Four Seasons brand.
The staff were nice and clearly hardworking, but there seemed to be a slight lack of attentiveness. Small gestures like a warmer smile or a friendly greeting would have made a significant difference. The rooms were okay, but nothing stood out as special. We thought about upgrading our room, but it didn't seem worth it given the overall standard of the hotel.
A noticeable issue was the maintenance. Smudges, stains, and loose cables were common sights, indicating a lack of attention to detail. This was particularly evident in the gym, which was filthy.
It may seem like minor issues, but when you choose Four Seasons, you expect a certain level of care and excellence. This was a testament to the brand perhaps falling behind its competitors. I’ve always been a fan of Four Seasons and have stayed in many across the globe, but this was an average experience at best. The staff are lovely and work hard, but it feels like the management needs to step up to bring this hotel back to the Four Seasons standard we know and love.

Excellent breakfast but it was not included. Location is good next to the shopping areas and bars and restaurants. Walking around was safe. Room was comfortable and clean and amenities were very good.

The four seasons Bogota is extremely well located. the room was beautiful, very well decorated in a classy way and very well equipped. I enjoyed every minute of my stay from the moment I arrived in the hotel until I left. Great breakfast, great cocktails, the staff was very professional. Great restaurant recommendation, truly the speakeasy bar in the other four seasons too. The car service was perfect and efficient.
