The manager Fernando did try to make amends by offering us breakfast at the hotel and free gym usage.
According to the manager st the last minute, our reservation was dropped by their system and they were overbooked so we had to go to a sister hotel. The gym is located a couple of blocks away on Parque 93 and they require passport information every time you enter. A pain for sure.

Good location for where we needed to go. Staff friendly and helpful. Food in restaurant was good. Pool on rooftop a very nice bonus!
Bedrooms only have a blind so if you need to get changed or want some privacy you have to keep pulling the blind up and down - very odd not to have curtains or a voile of some sort! Rooms were huge and lacked any character (virtually no pictures / softness!).

Very clean, helpfull staff, big rooms with good beds.
Breakfast bar had slim pickings, but the omelett chef was very good. I would not recommend staying higher than floor 6, the rooftop pool rinsing facility was very noisy and is right above the rooms on the 8th floor. When I am here there is construction on both sides of the hotell, which can be noisy at times.

Great service, very comfortable beds, super good breakfast. Amazing view from the swimming pool on rooftop, whhix also was great to finish the day after exploring the city. The staff was amazing, specially "el señor Daniel" as the kids call him still today. They have very fair rates also for taxis and are very well organised with an agency which offer some tours and in our case it woeksreally well especially with taxi drivers Diego and Henry. We had great time there. Thank you for having us!
Unfortunately there no other window in the room that the panoramic big one and once we took the shower we could feel the humidity in the room instantly, which wasn't great.

Most importantly was the location of Cite Hotel It was our first time in Bogota, and we found out from two guides that picked us up from our hotel told us that we were staying in the best area of the city. Central to most everything. We walked to a couple of great restaurants nearby in the evening and all around during the day and never once did we have any issues. Now safety aside, what a cool hotel with such a great staff, so accommodating & super friendly. Breakfast in the morning was perfect with an egg dish made to order and lots of fresh fruit and pastries plus hot dishes to choose from. The room was extremely clean, with a very comfortable bed. Room with a cool view! And now, so important to us was a very hot shower in a beautifully tiled and appointed bathroom. And then above everything it was a quiet part of town, so there was no partying in bars nearby. While it was easy to go to restaurants & bars walking wise, we were far enough away to not let the noise disturb our sleep. This is now our go to place in Bogota and we will be recommended to all of our friends & family

We had a lovely few days in the Cité Hotel. Friendly helpful staff, great breakfast and food options and lovely room facilities. The roof top pool was amazing. We did Monserrate funicular in the morning and La Candelaria 3 hr walking tour in the afternoon- thoroughly enjoyed both. We also visited the free entry Botero Musem which was fabulous. We had one evening meal in the hotel which was lovely and, on our second night we found a lovely Italian Resataurant - Romeo Osteria, that was very easy to get to from the hotel. We had a last minute flight home cancellation by our airline and the reception staff at the hotel couldn’t have been more helpful as we worked out the best alternative options - this was very much appreciated.
The hotel is in a good location but quite far out from the City Centre - Taxis/Ubers are very straightforward to get, but traffic at the busiest times in Bogota meant that we had a couple of journeys which took an hour to get back to the hotel. If we’d been more aware of this we would have tried to schedule activities/journeys for different times.
