The view was splendid but when it was cloudy, you start to wonder whether the room was overpriced. Unlike similar hotels, St Regis does not have toilets with smart toilet seats. Breakfast was pricey but choices were limited and so was space.

I stayed here for a couple of nights on a business trip and thought it was absolutely fantastic. The rooms are an incredible size and the beds were the most comfortable out of all the hotels I stayed in the previous 5 weeks. The reception is on the 96th floor so the views of Shenzhen are second to none. My room was on floor 80 with great views. The room was enourmous and had everything you would need should you need to work of if you want to catch up on some news you can turn on the enourmous TV with ceiling mounted stereo speakers... I rarely eat at hotels as I like to explore wherever I am however on this ocassion I had the buffet at the hotel. The food was fantastic. Seafood, ramen, cold meats, freshly cooked meat, sushi and desserts galore. I highly recommend doing it at least once.The bar is also great and reasonably priced as hotel bars go. When I checked out I needed and ATM and unfortunately I didn't get the name of the chap in reception who assisted me by taking the lift down with me an organising for Jason to walk me to an ATM and get me a cab to the train station. They couldn't have been more helpful.

An absolutely wonderful butler staff, with impeccable services! The moment of my arrival I was welcomed by Alice, who arranged getting me check-in quickly. Chief Butler Faust made my stay incredible, and he is one of the main reasons I only stay at the St. Regis hotel when I am in Shenzhen. A special thanks to Butler Dylan who delivered my evening meals when I ordered room service. He was always engaging and happy to converse with me. I actually stayed at this property two times before my return home. The second time was for three night, just to relax in this wonderful property. Simply the finest 5-Star hotel in Shenzhen city!
