Although not in an elite area, however it is in the middle of huge electronic markets. The staff were very professional especially the room cleaning lady 小玉 was just phenomenal. She deserves to be promoted and get a salary raise.
To my surprise and I’m sure to all guests’ surprise, there was no heating in the room!

Clean, modern, upscale, comfortable, good value, very helpful, courteous staff. Eva Li very pleasantly surprised us with the way she arranged our transportation to Hong Kong. My late night request was immediately attended to and confirmed. She further made sure a bellboy came to help us with our luggage at 5:15 in the morning. To ease my worry (I am a worry wort) she kindly provided a WhatsApp number. I wish my daughter is as nice when I make unusual requests. ?
There is a busy perimeter with barriers that makes it inconvenient to (Un)load luggage. The drop off area is "Huaquiang north metro station Exit A" which is many steps away from the hotel's entrance. "Many" because we had many luggages to drag. Otherwise it's at a good location for buying electronics, enjoying diverse restaurants, massages, etc.

The room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived.
One thing future guests should be aware of is that there is no main lobby on the ground floor. The primary lobby is located on the 23rd floor, so you need to go up there whenever you require assistance. Additionally, staff were not always readily available, which occasionally made the process inconvenient. Having easier access to support would greatly improve the overall guest experience.

The place is beautiful, the room spacious & clean, with most facilities I needed (including an iron with an ironing board). Great view of the city, and turns out in a prime location. only took a few steps to find several halal restaurants, & vibrant shops. I was given a free upgrade to my room, so not sure what my initial booking was. The staff were very friendly, helpful and kind. Only caught the name of one, Eva Li, who was very friendly & helpful. Thank you very much.
Just a recommendation, to install a bidet/ wash hose, next to the toilet in the room.

Huaqiang Plaza Hotel Shenzhen – Review This hotel is located right in the heart of Shenzhen’s Huaqiang electronics district. The area can feel a little crazy at times—very busy and intense—but it’s also extremely convenient. The location is excellent for food. There’s a large underground food mall directly nearby, and the metro/train station is right there as well, making it very easy to get around the city. One major highlight is the view. The mountain view is excellent, and the night city lights are genuinely stunning. The hotel itself starts on the 32nd floor, which adds to the feeling of being above the chaos below. Room quality is mixed. Some rooms are quite old and not well maintained. We had to change rooms after the first one, and while the replacement was acceptable, it was still very dated. That said, there were no strange smells, no major dirt issues, and nothing that felt unhygienic. The room we ended up with was large, with big windows and plenty of space, which made the stay comfortable overall. In summary, this is a hotel with an outstanding location, excellent food access, and great views. Room condition can be inconsistent and dated, but overall it was a good stay—especially if convenience, transit access, and views are more important than modern interiors.

Evrything is good here. Been staying here always for 10 years already. Staffs are great. Specially Jonathan their manager. Always there always helpful.
Nothing…… oh there is their laundry. Not like others in japan or korea. Not well maintained. Otherwise everything is great here
