The room was great, the restaurants were good and the staff was friendly.
The exercise room was not air conditioned when I went early in the morning. It was very hot and stuffy and I had to cut my treadmill run short.

Breakfast was great with a lot of selection. Room was spacious with a comfortable bed. The room was luxurious.
Room was a bit stuffy due to air conditioning having to go all the time and no way to get fresh air into the room. WiFi took a bit of work to get connected. Had to call front desk to get password and very little English was spoken by the staff so determining what the password was took some time.

Hotel was very clean, and rooms were spacious. Breakfast had a lot of varities but most of the are sort of Chinese Cuisine (as expected of course) so I was keeping more to a "standard" egg-toast combinations.
Staff were friendly, and event hough my schedule was very dense and I didn't have the opportunity to use swimming pool or SPA, the fact that SPA is open 24h is rarely seen, so thumbs up.
Wi-fi was rather poor and breakfast was, let's say limited, but still plenty of choice.

The staff were always very helpful. Their English was not great, but that was overcome by their willingness to help. The room was very comfortable and functional; they also have a great movie library we can access on the TV. I didn't use wifi, so don't know how it worked.
Slight issue with cleaning: I found a fake eyebrow stuck to the sink support that remained unnoticed the 3 nights I was there. Not great for a 5-start hotel, but besides that I found the cleaning efficient and competent. Besides that, I think breakfast didn't work that well. The restaurant clealry doesn't have the capacity to deal with a full hotel: it was necessary to wait for a table and twice I had to share a table with other guests. Also, from a Westerner's perspective, the breakfast didn't offer the breadth and quality expected for a 5-star hotel.

The fact that you have English TV available in the room is important if you dont want to go out every night and you just want to chill. The fresh fish restaurant although not the cheapest , is very good.
The fact that you can get a draft pint of cold beer - Asai is appreciated. The amount and speed of lifts , is much better than other Hotels in China. ( seems a but if you are on a business trip for a week , you dont want to be waiting 15 minutes to get to the lobby ).
The breakfast choice is good, but depending what time you go for beakfast it is often cold. the jug of balck tea was always cold. Not being able to have a hot drink in the room because there was no milk available is irriating.

Amazing huge bath tub with glass, so we could have a bath while watching a movie. There was HBO available, so that was a huge plus for us. The bed was really comfortable, room was spacious and very clean, there was a office space, the bathroom was nice and big. On the other side of the street there was a market, so we could buy fresh fruits and drinks. In the hotel we tried one of the restaurants and the food was really good. The breakfast was top
